While making my nightly lap around Scholazar I happened across Aotona. This is only the second time I've ever seen her, the first being just a few weeks ago. I almost killed her as I landed too close and barely had time to dismiss my pet and Feign Death. She was at like 10% health! But luckily she reset and I summoned my bf out to tame her. Now we have matching birdies! He named his Adele after the singer who he really likes and it's similar to Andraste, my bird.

Congrats! I swear she's rarer than King Krush or Loque'nahak. I've seen both of those several times, but Aotona only once. I like your birdy's name. Is she named after the prophetess from Dragon Age, or is the prophetess from Dragon Age named after something else?

I don't play Dragon Age so I have no idea what the Prophetess's name is lol. I named her after an ancient celtic war goddess. My wolf is named Boudicca, a rl celtic warrior queen who worshiped the goddess Andraste. I loved the name and I liked that I had two pets with both names. Although my Boudicca would rather eat my Andraste than worship her.

Ah okay, I kind of figured that maybe Bioware named her after another deity or some sort. It's still a lovely name, regardless of where it comes from!
