Hmm.....an unexpected Madexx (and now others)! [IMG]-heavy

My husband and I did some old-world raids yesterday, trying to get some old tier armor for transmog. We took a short break, so I wanted to head to Tanaris to look for Emberwing (comparing him to my green carrion bird Ysuran). I went by way of Uldum. As always, I had to take my mandatory fly-over of a certain desert to look for a certain scorpid. I didn't really want to tame one, and didn't expect to even find him. But, lo and behold, after checking all the points and circling back up to fly north into Tanaris, I spotted something out of the corner of my eye. I looked down to see a blue Madexx! I've never seen this one in the wild before, and have rarely seen anyone with it. I don't know why, but I just instinctively tamed it. It's not even a color I really care for all that much. I felt guilty. There was one other 85 hunter in the zone, but I didn't see him or her in the area at all as I was flying around. I just snatched Madexx right up in a panic.

I was looking him over, and noticed that he is, in fact, quite pretty. The light really dances on that blue carapace. The color reminded me a little of the deathbell herb in Skyrim, so I changed his gender to female and named her Deathbelle. I like her quite a bit (the name really clicked), though she won't ever replace Vulkoor (my black Madexx). Still, I don't have anything else that I want to tame right now, so I'll hang onto her (probably permanently). In fact, her striking color actually makes me want to try to get a blue outfit to wear with her. :P I wasn't expecting to like her much, but the more I look at her, the more I like her. I think Vulkoor is happy with his new "belle". :D

Poo, I just realized I forgot to take a pic after the tame.

Blue Madexx is such a beauty to spot, especially at night! :) I understand the pull completely, it was the first one to latch on to me. ^^

I love the name you chose for your girl, it somehow suits her completely. Grats on your pretty new companion! :D

Oh my.....I went on a bit of a spree tonight. I haven't played Rhyela in a while (not until last night, anyway), and after picking her up again, I cleaned out some of her stables.

So, tonight I started out looking for Loque'nahak, just to see if he was up. He wasn't, but I did run into an old "krush" of mine. :P I watched him for a bit, then said my good-byes and left him where he was. :)

Afterwards, I headed to Storm Peaks to see if Skoll was up. I've never ever seen him in the wild. Sure enough, there by that one cave, he was up. I decided to tame him to give him a shot, and named him Enelysion. He's pretty neat, but we'll see if I like him enough to keep him permanently.

Next, I headed to Hyjal to look for some of the newer critters. I couldn't remember their spawn points (and I couldn't be bothered to look it up), so I just sort of flew around aimlessly. Since I was there, I figured I'd see if Terrorpene was up. I've never seen him in the wild, either. There he was, swimming around. I tamed him, too (with only 30k health left!) and named him Gehenna.

What a fun night! I'm not sure if I'll keep my two new additions or not. I've already got Shikon, my Gondria; and Sheldon, my regular turtle. I am one of those that feels like even if you aren't sure you'll like something, go ahead and tame it anyway. Bonds form in unexpected places. And sometimes, a critter you are sure you'll love, you end up not caring for much at all. That's why I try to give things a chance if I like them at least enough to click the tame button. Maybe I'll fall in love with the pet, maybe I won't. But I won't know unless I try!

Thank you!!! ^.^ I am ashamed to admit that I let Enelysion (Skoll) go. He is a very neat spirit beast, I'll give him that, but he just had no personality to me. That and I already have the beautiful and powerful Shikon (Gondria). One spirit beast is enough for me. She's always been my favorite and probably always will be. :D

I realized tonight that bronze Madexx would look great with the current transmogged stuff I have (which, btw, is temporary until I get all the Giantstalker's stuff). So, I went back to Uldum to see if bronze Madexx was up. He wasn't, but I figured I'd try a common mob version just to see how he'd look. As I figured, he'd be handsome. I actually love the bronze Madexx, and would not hesitate to snatch him up. I don't intend to actively search for him since I'm running out of room and I already have two Madexxes, but I will do my occasional fly-bys here and there.

Then, I figured I'd get pics of my two Madexxes, Vulkoor and Deathbelle, since Uldum seemed like a good place to do it. I absolutely love this model. ^.^

Apollyon then demanded I take my pic with him. In his mind, he is far too awesome to be left out of a photo shoot. I let him think he's still king of the jungle. :P

Naturally, after taking pics of some of my favorite beasties, I couldn't possibly leave out my lifelong friend, Tetsusaiga. He's my calm and noble guardian. <3 I still think he is the most handsome kitty in the game. :D Blue isn't really a color I normally care much for, but his gorgeous eyes are the exception. :3

Blue Madexx and King Krush are pets I adore, most likely from having camped them for months (or years, in Krush's case). Grats on both beauties! I know its a little selfish of me, but I can't help but look for Krush each time I go to Sholazar to help others find Loque (who seems to be much in demand on my server). I would def tame a second King Krush. If no one wanted it. I couldn't bring myself to tame him if someone was looking for him.
Part of Dark Magics, lvl 25 Horde guild, casual, helpful, don't raid, mostly help people and hunt pets.
Part of Dynasty, lvl 25 Alliance guild, casual and hardcore (your choice, no one forces you to raid, but you can), very helpful
Come on over if interested (Runetotem US, Horde name Sarantha, Ally name Ellysetta or Valeraud)
