Helped another Hunter

Last nite I was doing the dailies in The Molten Front, as I am wont to do, and Kirix the spider and Skarr were both lurking about.

I have no real interest in taming a spider, they just look too real, they creep me out! Except for Jadefang, I did tame him, he doesn't look so...spidery. lol

Anyway, I annouced to my guild that Kirix and Skarr were both up to see if anyone wanted to tame them. Surprisingly enough, no one did. I then /who hunter and put the names in alphabetical order. I whispered the first hunter on the list and asked if they wanted to tame Skarr (there was already someone trying for Kirix by then). She said she wasnt' spec'd BM and I told her he wasn't a spirit beast so you could tame him in any spec. She quickly joined me in The Furnace and tried taming Skarr with my advice. She died three times, lol.

Finally, I ran off to get my Core Hound when she announces in party chat that she just tamed him! Her first rare pet! I wish I had written down here name but I didn't. She was a Dranei, that's all I can remember.

She asked if I was going after Kirix and I told her I was not. We parted ways and went about our business. About 10 mins later I decided to give Kirix a try, just for the sake of the challenge. There was Worgen hunter attempting to tame him and I didn't want to interrupt him so I whispered him about it. He said he had already died 10 times trying the tame and wanted to see me give it a try.

I had done some reading on the taming of Kirix so I felt fairly confident in my ability...I promptly died on my first attempt. All of a sudden, there's that Dranei hunter that had just tamed Skarr. She decided to try for Kirix after all. After only two attempts she completed the tame for her second rare in one night!

All the Worgen hunter and I could do was stand there with out mouths hanging open...lol

I've never heard of "rehoming" but thanks to you now I know what it is! Hopefully an admin will move this to the proper place.

And yes, I'm very new to the forums. I've been using Petopia for years and just joined the forums a couple of days ago.

Aw it's okay. No big deal! You did a good deed. :3 Thats what counts in the end. Yeah in Pet Discussion we got the Consolation Corner for people who see rares killed or people being douches. Then we got the Rehoming Room for stories like yours. :3
