It's better then paying up to double the amount for "organic" cuts of meats. XDMiyon wrote:Sure it may save money, but it may take a toll on her health if it goes on for too long. Re: Looking into Moving Out
Ive paid, with no medical, over $3000 on fixing my teeth due to the sheer amount of damage my lifestyle of acidic foods has taken on me. Plus, again without medical, $3000 for my braces+retainer and about $150 ontop of that for the X-Rays they needed to find out how to approach the situation. If its the only thing i do, i will eat good-for-you food XD we dont buy food thats labelled "organic" cause its way way too expensive and who really knows how organic it really is?
Anywho, giving you guys a heads up, ive handed out a small handful of resume's thusfar and have explained what i have been figuring out to my stepdad who is in full support of this plan and glad to know that ive been seriously trying to learn how to go about this task. He said he's been (understandably) worried sick about what we're gonna do so he's quite relieved to know that ive been looking into finding a place with a roommate to share expenses. Obviously its not a situation he wants to put me in but i think it really helped put his mind at ease that i am making plans of my own.
I only handed out a small handful currently cause i actually ran out handing them in fast food restaurants in just the one mall. I had 20 of them.
Ronyo's mom printed off 60 copies with my address and 60 with her address on them so i can hand out ones close to my place with my home address and go to places within transit distance of their place to help improve my chances of finding work. She said that im free to spend as many nights at their place as i want so i know for absolute sure that i will have easy access to work if i find any in Richmond or Vancouver, since New West and Burnaby are closer to where i am.
I have my final test with my zoo program tomorrow so i had to come home but on saturday im going back out and spending the day + sunday handing out resume's wherever i can get them. Gonna hit up Metrotown again since i didnt get to cover the places surrounding the mall, and gonna hit up the many malls that are found within Richmond, and also gonna hit up ol' Gastown and Waterfront in Vancouver. Gonna skitter on through mid-vancouver where my aunt works too since theres a whole chain of different fast food and cafe's dotted along the entire strip to her work.
I got a loooooot of ground to cover and im gonna spend dawn to dusk, if weather is kind enough, handing them out ^^ Faster i can get this done, faster stepdad can get the trainer he's been discussing to me about that he wants to get now that he know's im looking for a place of my own, and the faster i can get settled in my new home.
Now, there wont be much to update about till i get a job but i'll keep you guys posted on whats going on when it happens :3

Re: Looking into Moving Out
There's already been a lot of good advice in this thread, and I can't think of anything new to add that hasn't already been said, other than "good luck!"
You seem to be taking a very sensible and considered approach to it, so I expect things will work out for you!
