Dakota, Alice, and Ryuk (Warning, snake pictures)

Hey again, took a year break off WoW and got sucked in again. Came to the forum again looking for some info on a beast I'm currently camping and got sucked in again.
May, lurk, may post actively, we shall see! I need to get into the WoW vibe again, I feel like a noob all over again.


I don't know if you guys remember her from my old post, but the girl I was fostering, Alice, the American Pit Bull Terrier mix.... Weeeellll, I ended up adopting her. She was getting no interest as far as adopters, so we decided to take her in.
Her first day at our home, around June/July of last year.

She weighed 54lbs when we first brought her home, recently when we weighed her at the vet she was 41lbs, they were very happy with how she looks.

Dakota's doing great of course! He'll be 3 in June, started competing in dock jumping finally (working over a fear of strangers, not once did he get freaked out at the event), we also did some fun agility runs. But he's been working up to a lot of things, weight pulling, agility, rally/obedience, nose work, lure sports, and we've dabbled in Schutzhund. I'll post pictures of his awards with captions of his scores. ^_^

At a sprint race, god he just loves it! (The pulling is normal and not discouraged, it's frowned upon to discourage it, if you can't handle it you crate inbetween, but that's why he has a collar specially for it with padding and everything.)

He passed his CAT (Coursing Ability Test), 2 more and he gets a title!

At dock jumping practice, he knows how cute he is, he uses it to his advantage.

Dakota at his first dock jumping event, he's got another one coming up the 14th and the 15th. On his first day he got first in seniors with a 19'1, and 1st in pro on his second jump with 21'3 (personal best). He got stressed out on his second day and didn't jump as well, but he was there all day and of course the would stress his doggy mind! He earned his senior title (waiting for it in the mail), and actually earned 4 ribbons on a rosette, but I only took pictures of him with his two on the first day. The rosette matches his collar. ^_^

And the most recent addition to the family, Ryuk!

He's a ghost corn snake from LLLReptile, I got him back in December at 4 months old, he's be 7 months in a few days.
He's changed colors so drastically, he's stunning! Of course, I'm biased though.

Most recent picture of him, "helping" me play WoW, his yellow has gotten so bright and he's lightened a lot. He actually developed a yellow nose too.

Thank you! ^_^ His fuzzies are all sorts of colors, blonde, dark brown, black, grey, white... for awhile I thought his skin color was showing when he stretched out to get it down... then I realized it's just the mouse inside. >_<
