Why 25 man raids man may still be better in Cataclysm

I should get a reward for posting all this stuff I come across.

I think Blizzard is amp-ing up to make an announcement for Cataclysm that will make 25 man raids more attractive than 10 man raids.

Far fetched? I think not, it really feels to me that Blizzard is setting the stage for something. And what is that something? Here goes...

Remember a little feature called Guild Advancement?? I bet that 25 man raid achievements are going to tie directly into this and there are going to be 25 man raid only perks that 10 man raiding guilds can not receive. I believe that is where 25 man raiding guilds will be able to gain an advantage over 10 man raids.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least. I know I find 25 mans much more easy to heal in then 10. For some reason people like to take 2 heals instead of 3 in 10s and I think that added stress knowing that I'm one of 2 lifelines for 10 people makes me under preform >.<

Also keep in mind that this dovetails with the new guild leveling system, so a change like this is more incentive for guilds to always raid as a guild, and not pug (either via bringing in pugs to fill up a 25, or you do your guild 25 and then people pug out to do 10s on off-nights). I'd be willing to bet that the 25 man raiding guilds might get some better guild leveling perqs, abilities and so forth.

e) We do not yet know how guild leveling will work, it could be that guilds clearing 25 man content will get bigger, better or more guild perqs

Even without this, 25's will still be better overall. Considering the new guild leveling system and various perks, well, we'll just have to wait and see.
