Woohoo new shiny avatar/signature! The other one was nice, like I really liked how it came out, but it bothered me cause it was too large.

I'm like... super-duper OCD about some of the craziest things. My posts on this forum have to look purdy and nice, that's why I center my font and stuff. I would add colour like I used to but I realised that when I get a different 'theme' for my signature and stuff, the font on older posts don't match and... yeah. xD

Since my stable was packed full of cats I never used, I decided it was time for me to have a bit more variety in my pets. So I looked at every single pet species in order of how they were listed here on Petopia and made a list of the pets I would like to tame. I'm going down the list from there, starting with...

Gemma, the Emerald Skytalon.

I've never been too fond of pets and mounts that can't land but something has always interested me about these birds. I'm not even sure if they're actual birds, elementals maybe? But they also have a very subtle hint of one of my favourite colour combos, green and purple. Green and purple is the reason I've always liked the Phosphorescent Stone Drake and Gezzarak the Huntress so much. Gemma's original name was going to be Jade but it wouldn't let me have that for some reason. Then looked up Latin words and found that Gemma means 'jewel' or 'gemstone' and this seemed to fit perfectly.



[Oh and I also finally got the Darkmoon Dancing Bear today but no screenshot since I don't like that mount at all rofl. Me no like 'silly' mounts.]

And here's my new companion, Caramel! I had her a while back because I just adored her colours, the light yellow and pink just seem to fit together so well and create such an eye-catching mix. I went to re-tame her and by heck was it a challenge. The first time I tamed her was after a wipe in Zul'Aman so I simply ran back to where the dragonhawks and the tamers were and I carefully placed my traps so that I could grab one. This time though I had to sneak in all by myself and be very careful, took me a while to get to where I wanted! And after a few trial and errors I finally grabbed back my pretty girl! I honestly have no idea why her name is Caramel though. The name just... came to me. Apparently something about her reminds me of caramel? *Shrug*

So this afternoon I went to tame my second companion - Saphira the ice serpent. I was quite stuck between taming the blue or the black and white version but in the end my heart won over to the blue wind serpent. And she reminded me so much of Saphira from the Inheritance Cycle (No I haven't read Brisingr or Inheritance yet so don't spoil it for me. xD) that I just had to name her after her.

And thank you to The Hunger Games for being AMAZING and giving me the inspiration to finally give Chaoyll a proper name! For ages now I didn't feel Chaoyll properly suited my hunter since it doesn't sound very blood elf-y and Chaoyll/Chao has been my nickname for over six years now - Chaoyll is 'me', not any of my characters. So after a bit of thinking I thought Everdeen sounded like a more blood elf-suitable name. And HOLY CRAP IT WASN'T ACTUALLY TAKEN ON MY REALM. Lol I was so shocked, I didn't expect it to be free. So I snatched it up right away. And I checked for Katniss too, just in case, it was taken and apparently there's 229 characters called Katniss already... and that's only on the European realms. xD

Okay so the thread's been dead for... over a month now. Why? Cause I made a new one but it didn't go down so well. No one commented on it at all. I can kinda understand why, though. I made the mistake of putting up a picture of *every single mount* I owned. That's... 70+ pictures on one page. No one wants to wait for that to load. -.-

So everyone knows this is my real thread, right? I updated the first post with links to my mounts, so every single mount has a nice little place on my thread now.

Aw I'm sorry. xD I didn't mean for it to look that way. But I do agree, it ended up seeming more like a gallery than a thread. But I prefer the idea of a mount thread that's a bit more 'chatty', you know? So I can spaz or rage about losing mount rolls, etc. And that thread didn't really seem like the sort I would do that in.

In terms of mounts though, I'm still running daily for the Raven Lord. My armory says I've done 29 runs now. My boyfriend is doing the same and I really hope he gets it. c:

Can you tell me where in the armory you have seen the # of runs? I've been running stonecore and have lost count how many times I've killed him. Want to see if I can look it up.

It only counts the last boss of the instance. It hasn't been counting how many Raven Lord kills I've done, it's been counting how many times I've killed the last boss, who I kill every time I do a run.

I feel so spoiled after reading this thread. A week or two ago I was AFK in K3 while looking up the questline to get the Armored Polar Bear, and I log back in... NPCscan has gone off and TLPD was sited! Frantic, I follow his path until I catch up with him, nabbing my new mount.

Then two days later I get my Raven Lord after only 21 kills. I guess this makes up for the terrible, terrible week of camping for Aeonaxx.
