Yeah, I was going to say something but Veph put it in a nice tight package for me!Vephriel wrote:I think it's a very fitting monk ability, and I don't see the need for hunters to cause an outrage over it if that's the case. The monk is calling on a Pandarian god. I know the model's appealing, but just because it's a beast doesn't mean it has to be for us and no one else. There are many classes that have unique summoned creatures that other classes don't get. We get a lot of love as it is, other classes should get something special once in a while too.Sesamee wrote:Can you imagine the outrage if Monks get this as a pet, even if it has a cd, and hunters don't? I can't imagine Blizz would do that to hunters.
First and foremost Blizzard is trying to give every class a bit of something. I don't think they will be going "Oh I wonder how hunters will react to this" as the first thing they do.
If we don't get a spirit beast out of this then I feel like it's a missed chance to make another nice non-transparent SB but that's that and at least we can get it on a monk. There was never any promise that we, as players, would have any access to it at all besides maybe staring at the model while it sits somewhere.
