Thanks guys, it wasn't all that much, but the Quilen seem to have that fu dog squishy face look, which really gives them their personality imo. The pups really did seem to be missing it which I thought was a bit of a shame.

Making it's eyes smaller does give it a little bit more of an "angry eyes" looks to it, but still cute

I don't care much for the mount, besides there will be other quilen mounts in the expansion.

That mount looks like it'd mount you if you turned away. Just sayin. The pet though, I honestly find it ugly. It's like a Pug in a lion suit with cutesy eyes pasted on it. Kinda like a nightmare or bad fan character from Deviantart.


Not all too impressed, to be honest. The Phoenix would've been a better CE mount, whereas the Quilen being a cash shop mount. I bite my tongue at saying that last part, but it's more natural that way.

As for the pet, please send in your recolours to Blizz so we can persuade them to at least show them in game. It be a hoot to see a mother quilllen and her brood of young pups frolicking in one of the Mo'gu temples or campsites.

I was also surprised they didn't use cloud serpents, they seem such a natural choice. I can understand wanting to use a ground mount, though. Think I would have picked a crane over a quilen.

I thought the Imperial Quilen could fly...somehow? At least, the tooltip could lead one to believe it might be able to fly. We'll have to see if/when it's available for testing!

Oh, you're right, it looks like it will be a ground and flying mount. Still, I can understand Blizzard picking a mount that looks good as a ground mount, in a way that cloud serpents do not!

I'm relieved that the mount doesn't appear to be getting wings. I think they would be needlessly messy and just clutter the model too much. I really don't mind mounts that fly while running through the air, such as the Headless Horseman's Mount. I'm assuming that's what this one will do.

I think it looks too much like a puppy to be a quilen( not that i am complaining since puppies are adorable). I think that the eyes do not look like the eyes of a quilen since the quilen do not have pupils.

Yeah, those milky eyes are a bit too demonic. Either that or it has severe cataracts.

I wonder what the eyes would look like if the pupils were just made smaller, rather than removed, and the original white parts were filled in with blue? And maybe trying a darker blue?
