We're coming second at the moment as well. I was in the WvWvW thing for about 6 hours yesterday (until it finished) and we were dominating. 170k against both 55-70k. (We were getting 2v1'd a lot in the eternal BG as well.)

I liked how simple the transfers were, just switch server on the list and they log you out and back in. Done. xD

Well, my pre-order headstart began tonight, so I just got into the game. I'm still trying to decide my main race, though I love the human and norn customizations. I think norn appeals to me more overall, but I just love that the human starts out with a drake. x)

I'm going with Tarnished Coast since that's where most people seem to be going. Not sure on name yet as I'm still just messing around to see what I want to roll.

I did switch back to Tarnished Coast while my brother was out. I texted his friend to let him know, and my brother will not be able to play much until tomorrow anyways, so I might be in the clear

Are ice drakes charmable? I didn't see them before on the pet list... And I second the veg looking pretty. But I would live an ice drake!

Spent 45 minutes on that stupid sylvari jumping puzzle to charm a spider and then gave up... It wasn't work it. My Krytan Drakehound will do. I called him Rusty :B

I think it's a whatever-you-wanna-do game, in other words, PvE if you want, PvP if you want, and both aspects are made to be as appealing as possible.

I'm personally going to try as much as possible. I have high hopes for this game, really high hopes, yet I'm still not one of those silly 'IT'LL KILL WOW' people, haha. I'm so excited for tomorrow. (:

Should mention really quick that people can join more then one guild (Although you can only represent one at a time.). So if anyone wants to make a random guild, be sure to invite me. ^^

I saved up my silver and bought a bunch of guild influence back on Darkhaven, lost it all when I transferred though, so that kinda sucked... I got some more from WvWvW, and I just started the Lv1 Politics upgrade an hour ago (I want that damn customizable tabard!)

Also, lmao Veph, that's awesome! (It doesn't seem to matter which game, you always manage to find a way to customize something that reflects you completely.) xD

I really love the look of the Norn starting zone, btw.

A bit of everything from the looks of it, to me it kinda feels like a combination of RIFT and WoW. I really like the character storyline quests, but they seem to rise in level waaay faster than what you can keep up. (So you're forced to either PvP, look around for events, or go to another race's starting zone to gain levels.)

It's tricky to pose for screenshots in this game without the ability to make your pet stay at a certain place. x.x

I'm having a lot of fun so far. A little disoriented at times figuring out what I should be doing, haha, but I'm just taking my time going through the zone and doing the events and exploring.

Man, I can't level, I just keep exploring because the world's so pretty!



No breath meter! We get a little water breathing mask thing. I have such an easier time going underwater due to that alone.

Okkaayyy....a French player has already hit 80 according to this article from Kotaku.com. From the article they managed the feet mainly through crafting which does award exp.

Though I really doubt they used cooking in the mix. Seriously, if the npc is warning you in advance that the skill will take a good bit of money and karma points to level maybe it should have been left out of the game.
