I managed to get my entire team killed by a single Lilligent last night. That was… not my brightest moment. >.> Ended up switching out one of my 'mons to a Tranquill and managed to kill the stupid flower-thing quite easily. Now I'm just lost in this dang cave. /flops

Anyway. Team.

Jane, lvl 32 male Sawk. I love Jane he's fabulous and amazing.
Sequoia, lvl 31 female Krokorok. Grabbed her to do the Electric gym, then… didn't use her at all. xD
Candle, lvl 31 female Boldore. Can't wait to trade her back and forth with my friend to evolve her.
Sir Perce (Perceval), lvl 31 male Dewott. I really like Perce even if he's not always the most useful.
Lyrr, lvl 31 male Musharna. I adore Lyrr so much. Odd, seeing as I was never fond of Musharna. He's a beast though.
Dera, lvl 31 female Tranquill. Had to power level her so I had at least one pokémon strong against Grass types. x.x

My only real problem now is my complete lack of Fire types as well as nothing strong against Water types. I wish I could get a Grass/fire. >.>

Uh, I'd get rid of Sequoia or Candle personally.

Grass is definitely your most critical weakness. I recommend you either pick up A. Larvesta/Volcarona (Either an egg or lvl 75 after Elite 4), B. Chandelure (I personally love my chandelure. She's got +sp.atk and she just one shots pretty much everything she comes across), Heatmor doesn't look half bad. (Oh my god shiny heatmor holy crap suddenly I want.)

I suppose you could run archeops as well, but if you plan on keeping Candle, there's little point in that regard. (Plus Defeatist makes me sad. If you want, you could replace Lyrr with a Sigilyph, taking care of your grass type issue as well ensuring you have a psychic type. If you're derping around and have extra room, haxorus, mienshao, and durant are all pretty tough pokemon that make good additions to any team.

I'd play around with http://pokemon.marriland.com/black_white/team_builder for a while and get a few ideas. Try to mess with weaknesses.

....I never realized how weak my team was...

I have at least 1 pokemon super effective to everything but Bug, Ghost, And Dark types.......
That's for My unova team, which consists of:
Pokemon #1: Samurott
Pokemon #2: Unfezant
Pokemon #3: Ninetales
Pokemon #4: Zekrom
Pokemon #5: Kyurem
Pokemon #6: Virizion
I might switch out one of them for my Keldeo though...not sure which...'

My Sinnoh team, if I where to move them up to Pokemon White, would do a lot better, but...I like my Unova team...

Yeah, I use that a lot. That said, you never have to take it seriously, especially if you don't plan on competitive battling. If you like your pokemon, that's fine. I just like to build somewhat balanced teams and I get real neurotic--I have to like all my pokemon, they all have to be somewhat powerful, and the team has to be balanced. XD Needless to say, it can be real difficult trying to change things up.

Though, I have three fire types XD
Ninetails, Rapidash, and Charizard.
And only my Pachirisu beats the water type they're weak too XD

After a crapton of resetting.. I got a Timid Keldeo with full 31 IVs in Special Attack. AND a rather high powered Hidden Power Ghost.

SO I FINALLY GOT HIM!!!

Needless to say, the first thing I did after deciding that I'd keep this particular little one and not keep resetting.. Was SKEDADDLE the hell to the Moor of Iccirus and activate the event where he learns Sword of Mystery. (I REFUSE to use the dub name for that move, by the way. Who the HELL thought that naming it "Secret Sword" was a good idea?! WHO?! IT'S TOO CLOSE TO SACRED SWORD! I WANNA SACRED SWORD THE DOLT WHO THOUGHT OF THAT DUB NAME!!)

EV-training didn't take too long, luckily.. Aaaand after a small break afterwards to go play WoW (OH GOD ALL THE CHANGES *Dies*), I started leveling him up. He is now lvl 60. XD


Also, I am just.. Beyond words over the ribbon he has. It's the Wishing Ribbon. And its little description?

"A Ribbon said to make your wish come true."

Just.. Argleblargle. I just.. Cannot express how awesome that ribbon is to me, cause this event TRULY did make my wish come true. *Hugs her Keldeo, dissolving into a spluttering mess of pure and utter joy*

Heee, actually I've been considering doing either a Keldeo-related signature or avatar for here. I've just been too busy with five zillion other things to do so. XD (Granted, I admit, I'm pretty dang attached to my current sig. I love my silly little chibified Black Team so much. XD So chances are I'll just make a new avatar for myself. XD)

And speaking of le little pony.. Mine is around, uh.. Lvl 93, I think? Yeah. XD He would be lvl 100 by now, I think, if it weren't for the fact that I want to get my Cobalion to lvl 100 first, and he's around lvl 94-95 right now, I believe. He just takes FOREVER to level up, so it may take a little, well, effort to get him to 100. But the second I do, I'll be back to training Keldeo. Wheeee, I'm so close to having the entire quartet at lvl 100! <3 *Bounces up and down in excitement* (I actually feel bad for Cobalion. Both Terrakion and Virizion are already lvl 100.. Yet their leader is STILL NOT QUITE THERE. Why? Because I'm a terrible person and keep ignoring him. :c)

Pretty much.

So I've been pretty desperate for my houndoom, Nathan, to learn Flamethrower. At a move set like Fire Fang, Faint Attack, Bite and Odor Sleuth, I wasn't having a lot of faith for taking on Byron. And then I remembered my more or less finished copy of soul silver. While I didn't have Flamethrower in my bags, I learned where I could find it. And I was pretty sure I had never picked it up. So after a brief misadventure where the only pokemon in my party, a level 22 noctowl ended up getting crushed and I was sent back to Goldenrod, I finally found and got my TM.

Now I need my DSes to charge and then I'm sending Nathan over so he can learn it. And then Byron will know fear. And Nathan will finally become the manly badass houndoom he is meant to be.

I love houndoom, one of my fav pokemon episodes is the one where Ash see's dark pokemon for the first time. Doberman are my favorite dogs in RL to, so little wonder why houndoom keep finding there way onto my teams!

Why dont you do the sending over while the DS's charge? They can still be played while charging.

Houndoom was my first ever shiney Pokemon card. In one blister pack I got 2 houndoom's one was one normal and one shiney <3 both rares too!

SO. While training Keldeo in Black (He's lvl 98!), I'm running around, looking for Shaking Grass.. When I accidentally run into normal grass. For no reason. I mentally facepalm, calling myself stupid, then briefly wonder "Well maybe it's a Shiny lol!"

The Pokemon appears. It's a Tropius. ...An oddly YELLOW Tropius. Time seems to stand still for a moment as I wonder, "Is.. That...?

Then it sparkles. That familiar and oh so wonder sparkle.

I FLIP OUT, then scramble around, panicking cause OH GOD EVERY POKEMON I HAVE WITH ME WOULD ONE-SHOT IT. So as a last resort, I just throw a Quick Ball at it. ...And it catches it. First Quick Ball. Catches it. The Shiny Tropius.
