Rare Tracks going forward?
...or should I still be going backwards. I was tracking backwards and a track disappeared so I back traced and the next one before it did the same.
Patrannache...probably phased out. =(

I tamed him last week, and the tracks were still going backwards.

Yes they are, I found her. Twice now I have followed tracks and both times they have disappeared and reappeared going the other way right in the middle of their path not at the ends. feel free to remove this post. I will try not to be so excited next time and just calm down.

How far in the middle, out of curiosity?

Re: Rare Tracks going forward?
Both the crane and the turtle were almost the exact middle of their pathway. Turtle was flared and went to tame but slots were full, he walked out of the flare and stopped making tracks. Ran around for like 10-15 minutes and found his tracks at that spot again but going the other way. The cranes tracks just stopped and started to disappear backwards from the last track I could find. She was headed east and when I eventually found her again she was headed west again past her halfway mark but way too soon to have finished her east walk to have turned around all ready.

Not sure what happened there - it sounds like Bloodtooth dropped a few tracks you missed, but depending on where Pat was exactly, he might have been closer to his hill than not.

Re: Rare Tracks going forward?
Lost Pat and her tracks at 57,71 and lost Bloodtooth at 38,63. On both pets I went back and forth from their last known positions/tracks until I got to one end or the other of their paths then went back to where they were last seen and by that time they were both heading in the opposite direction I saw them heading when I first/last encountered them. I not a betting man but I will place some money on something weird happened in both cases.

Yep, definitely sounds like they both hit the end of their paths and turned around. Bloodtooth was unaccounted for for a long enough period of time and Patrannache was on that part of his path.
