*Sigh*… I swear I had self restraint once, I really did.

This guy has been on the AH for months now, gradually falling in price. He finally reached under 25k today. That's most of my gold. But I swear to the Light, this thing was haunting me. I checked AH every day to look at his price. It's nice not to have to worry… He's mine now.

Finally got the polar bear to drop <3 Not as amazing as some of the mounts you all have gotten, nor is it my most sought after, but very happy to have seen it finally drop nonetheless

Anyway, I finally got a mount I've been aching to get for two expansions. Huge thanks to my friends for helping me get the last achievement. ^.^

Normally my guild raids on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, but likely due to the Christmas rush too many people failed to show up to last night's run (Read: 6). So we decided to go finish off the Glory of the Firelands Raider achievement for me as I only had one part of Do A Barrel Roll! left (the fiery vortexes part). Not a fun achievement to finish, even at level 90 xD However we managed it in the end by running out through the firewall gate when the vortexes began and uber-healed our way to victory.



But that's not all! Lookie what else dropped when we decided to clear the instance for the hell of it, and after only FOUR Raggy kills! And to think I'd been bored and wishing the run would end so that I could finish my dailies before logging for the night.


Soooo happy

...Oh, and those guys got their purple hawks, too.


I'm now sitting pretty at 175 mounts 178 if you include Kithren's pally horses.

I posted it in my own thread but I have to post it here too, I'm just that happy at the moment.



After 119 kills, it finally dropped. Has anyone else ever had that experience where, after you've killed the boss, looting it seems to take a split second longer than normal if it's holding a mount? That happened here. For an extra millisecond... I knew the mount had dropped before I even saw it. And then when I saw *two* purple drops instead of the normal one which seems to trick me into thinking it's the mount, I knew what had happened. I screamed in delight before I even read the text and knew for sure what it was!

God, it really felt like forever though. I felt like I was doing something wrong, that the mount would never actually drop for me. But alas... there he is.

And what a beautiful mount. I wanted to go do Netherwing dailies after my run but I can't get myself off this mount!

Earlier today I finally got my Alani! I was sitting on 5 shards for awhile now, and once I hit ambassador with Pandaria I kinda stopped doing pretty much anything except pet battles. Recently, I was like, OK, this is stupid, I've been running around with half the shards I need for the mount, why am I wasting time?! I put pet battles completely to a stop, no dailies, nada, and parked myself for a focused grind, only doing my farm stuff, checking the BMAH, Golden Lotus dailies, and many, many hours of mob grinding. One shard first night, 2 almost in a row the next session earlier in the day, but nothing at night, nothing the next day/night, and then two pretty much in a row today.

Just a note- out of ALL the dailies I did with GL, NEVER got a shard from the treasures of the vale. All my shards were pretty much lucky RNG while doing dailies, or gotten from purposeful mob grinding.

So I finally got my pretty baby that I should have had a long time ago... but... yeh! I got her! Yay!

While it wasn't Azure, my all time must have flying mount, I did just get the Blue Drake from EoE. So I'm 1/5 on soloing EoE. I really need to get my other Hunter to 90 so I have have three characters to solo it on each week.

Going to go make the boyfriend's cookies now. Just wanted to run through EoE on my main real fast to see what I got. Will run through the rest later tonight.

Good luck! So far, we've had two Azures drop and no Blues! >.< Luckily, me and my boyfriend two-man it, so we've both got one now, so at least they went to homes.

Had a hunch to go into the eye last while I do every other raid I usually do and I did not believe my eyes when ashes of alar dropped, gotta love hunches haha

No image though because this is my iPad not comp(nvm I could save my gmail photo to here heh) but man am I happy as ever, this mount has been around forever and only just now have I finally got it woohoo!
