BoAs getting upped to 85

They're under the New Items section. It also looks as though there are some BoA offhands and shields, which will be an absolute godsend for alts.

Maaaybe I can bother to grab heirlooms on other servers? If I could MAIL THEM along that way that would be the thing I'd love most!

Even with the BoAs that are available up to 85 I felt that 80-85 zoomed by exceedingly fast this last round I went through it after Cata. >_>
Still, I won't complain about new/old BoAs being added for up to 85. Shields and off-hands will be nice, though I wonder, by this point, why don't they just make an entire outfit of BoAs anyway? It's not exactly like our alts are needing a whole lot of gear from quests/dungeons at this point anyway. I think my fully BoA'd alts have maybe 4 or 5 slots of gear I actually need to try and fill, and that's only because I don't have the hunter bow or ring. More than new BoAs I would love for BoAs to be truly account bound and pass between servers.

Right there with you. Luckily I sent my worgen Druid (only 85+ ally toon) to my d ally realm packed with heirlooms so I could make room for a monk.

As much as I'd like to have a bunch of ally alts as well, this xpac hasn't exactly been alt friendly so far, but this is a good start b

As an extreme altoholic, I very much approve of this. I just wonder if these items are new ones, or the old ones that has gotten upgraded. I seriously hope it's the upgrading of the old items, or else this means that there's yet another ting to farm...

If they're brand new items I wont even bother getting them period. Upgrading what we have would be fantastic. (and would make no sense to have the two sets)

Do approve. I had problems leveling a druid on a server from 80-85 because I reaaallly didn't like Cata quests DX

I am more stuck at the point where I have a whole bunch of Loom items, but they are on a server where they are not needed so much...I really do hope they implement the ability to send BoA's to characters on other realms...

Yeah, I too hope they will make us able to use heirlooms on other servers. An interface like mounts and mini pets for heirlooms would be very nice. I think I've seen somewhere that they have been talking about doing just that. But not 100% sure. Could have been speculation only.

I think I saw a bluepost on the forums saying their systems won't allow for cross server BoAs without actually xferring them in a toons bags this xpac. Yes, this xpac.

could not be something done for BoA's like they do for vanity pets, but instead of "caging", you "Claim" it and thus it becomes an item in your inventory? then you can shift-click it or something to redeposit it into you boa book. or click it to equip it.
