An interesting read, although I found that the writer's choice of making their evil self look monstrous was too much and detracted from my personal enjoyment of the story. I realise that it was there to make it obvious that this "imaginary" being was corrupt and diabolic, and their human self the innocent victim. However, it would have made me feel like the story was more daring and more believable had the murderous imaginary character been identical to its creator in appearance at the very least. After all, it isn't the nightmares that we cook up in our minds that are the true evil, but us humans in and of ourselves.
