So dad, you know that sometimes you get distracted and don't remember that we told you something. You know that your son does this too. We all know this!

So when we say "Oh yeah, could you fix this sink? Said son has been asking about it" and you go "I NEVER HEARD ABOUT THIS", and we say "He told you, but you were probably working" and you get furious about us apparently lying to you...

Shut the fuck up and stop punishing us for you being an asshole.

The rule of three (all bad things happen in groups of three)

1) my 3 year old had a door closed on her fingers at the mall, poor kid had dents in her fingers for an hour, luckily she could bend them all so I knew they weren't broken.

2) She was in the stroller (looooong day out, and long walk from home) and the stroller hit a root and one of the front wheels snapped off. Devastated kid. (we'd been out all day and she was so tired she asked to ride in the stroller...she never asks, she loves to walk, so I knew she was tired)

3)Walking home (see 2) She trips on some cracked pavement and does a full smack onto the ground, bleeding elbows, hands, knee's.

My heart is breaking for all that happened to her today.

I gave her some chocolate and some blueberries and let her lay on the couch watching cartoons. But every time she bent her knee's she'd start whimpering. I just hope she feels better in the morning. She's in bed now and I haven't heard any more whimpering.

Okay so another forum I go too has this huge issue.

Some days I wish Grammar Nazis would realise that some words HAVE MORE THEN ONE SPELLING FOR FUCKS SAKE.

Case in point Realise. Realise (English) and Realize (American English) are both correct spellings. Same with colour and color mum and mom.

Next time you see someone spell a word do a quick google search before acting like you know better. It might just stop you making a fool out of your self.

Boy, Dark Animus tonight took a whole lot longer than it should have. It couldn't have been the one healer who didn't want to dispel which caused me to get sniped by receiving end Matter Swaps over and over!

The earthquakes that have been happening all day. It's fucking scary really fucking scary. They started at the bottom part of the North island and have been moving up. The last one was in a town about and hour drive from Auckland the city I live in. I've seen the shit that they did to Christchurch. That city is still in ruins and they happened years ago!

Minor rant compared to cowmu's, but aaargh raaahhh @ Ubuntu / Gnome. I upgrade and now a simple keyboard shortcut doesn't even work. It was bad enough you decided to discard my alt-x shortcut during the upgrade, but then even after I've re-added it it only works if I hit it twice (and then it takes effect twice). Seriously, wtf is up with this?! It's even worse than Apple removing CoverFlow from iTunes 11! Though come to think of it, let's make the removal of CoverFlow rant#2 in this post. It was the only thing which made iTunes useful. At least with it present iTunes was a polished-to-a-shiny-gloss turd (see Mythbusters for verification), without it it's just a turd. I miss Steve Job's influence over there...

I really haven't been liking the newer iTunes either.

I especially miss being able to see the cover art when I click on a song; now it just shows when I actually PLAY the song, and well, I have a lot of Japanese music and I can't actually read kanji all that well. I also am not a fan of the song library scrolling to the top every time I click back into it instead of just remembering my position.

But the way playlists work is nice at least, I guess...

It's okay, it's understandable to be overwhelmed when someone invaded your home. Have you called the police and filed a report?

It's probably a good idea to do so.

They didn't take anything, so it seems a bit pointless to do so. If anything, I should call border patrol... But there's nothing they can really do, either.

The earthquake Wellington got yesterday morning was bigger then the one that destroyed Christchurch @.@ If it had been as shallow as the Christchurch one we'd of had another major national disaster. Oh my golly gosh.
