So I let a person do a payment plan with me for a SD. If they dont come threw with the first payment sometime soon *like 2 weeks I'll give them* I'll sick the dragon mafia on them.

Cow, X/Y/Y is a very popular color setup and you could possibly get a good amount of treasure from that hatchling!

For example I just sold an x/x/y for 800k. granted she was maize/maize but still those kinds of colorsets on gen 1s are good to try selling

The other fun part about switching to plague, is that you can headcanon RP out your clan becoming infected and converted into their ranks. If I were to change to Plague, and I'm not saying I would, but if I did I would totally write up all kinds of RP about my clan defending the southern border of Dragonhome and being overrun by Plague's forces- only to be raised as new undeadish recruits >:D

heavily tempted to switch to light. i love arcane, don't get me wrong, but the eyes can be killer on some of my favourite pairs... whereas light's eyes would match pretty much everything. wind would look nice, too, but i was going to rent a nest specifically to get light eyes for a certainly pair, so... might as well?

I don't really RP but the plague folks seem all right to me. I don't particularly RP myself (which is weird 'cause I'm a major WoW RPer) but I know there's a bunch of stuff that goes on.

I'm plague because of headcanon and because red eyes are awesome. I admit that, much like WoW, I tend to avoid the forums in general.

Lightning has been heavily, heavily tempting me...the eyes are awesome, yeah, but I've adored storms since I was little. The nastier and more chaotic a thunderstorm was, the happier I was. Plus I love the ambitious vibe I get from Lightning, and I enjoy computers and nerdy stuff, I'm just not huge on engineering and the like...I would just love the change of scenery, absorb the Lightning atmosphere a little, mingle with the peeps, etc.

It breaks my heart to turn my back on the Windsinger and the Wind community, though. >.> I mean, I guess the above reason brands me a true Windbro, wanting to just travel and experience a flight for a little bit...but I would want to come back to Wind, and 1500G is insanely expensive to me...I dunno...the Wind description and everything Wind stands for fits me to a freaking T (amazing because I just picked a flight at the beginning, Wind seemed like the most fun) whereas Lightning does, but not so perfectly as Wind...argh. *Tears at hair in frustration*

FOR THOSE CONSIDERING WIND: I would recommend it 110%.

FR has a lot of nice people, but the Windies are the friendliest, funnest, goofiest and most light hearted people I've ever met, irl or virtually. I absolutely love getting onto the forums and interacting with my Windbros, seeing what's up, etc. I think the forum is fairly neat (kind of amazing for Wind, if you think about it XD), people seem to be very generous, hosting free raffles where all you have to do is say you're interested, or looking for homes for cute dragons and expecting little to nothing in return. Not saying that all of the flights aren't creative (because they are in their own ways), but this is the flight of artists, poets, writers in general, easy going and playful people, the explorers who love delving into the unknown simply to know and experience the thrill of it, etc. If you want to broach an idea or share your own personal works, Windies would be the ones telling you how wonderful it is and finding ways to improve it. I still laugh at a memory from back when we opened registration last time, there was a thread on the FR discussion board welcoming new members. You could tell immediately which were Wind: "HI NEW PERSON!!! Welcome to FR!!! It's so nice to meet you!!!" They were the most enthusiastic about the new members, it seemed. XD They welcomed them with open arms and a dragon or two.

We're usually pretty laid back and okay with cheering on and assisting other flights when they push for dominance, but when we decide to take it for ourselves, we can do so. We have an incredible person in our flight named Valthecon who organizes quite a few things, mainly dominance related. She's posted up a date for when we are going to push for dominance next, and we've been heavily into planning. Lots of people willing to help out (myself included!). So essentially what I'm saying is if we decide we want dominance, we will get it done. We don't push as much since we just are cool with chilling usually, but we're always willing to extend helping hands to other flights who are fighting for dominance.

I apologize for the miniature novel, but as you can tell, I am pretty passionate about my flight and I'm glad I was lucky enough to pick the right one for me in the beginning when I didn't do my research. I would only want to switch flights for like a 'vacation' time, but I would definitely want to go back. I would be heartbroken if I couldn't. I could be with any other flight, and I don't think I could be nearly as attached as I am to Wind, its deity and its community. Wind has some amazing people in it who always encourage new ideas and looking on the bright side of things. I adore my Windbros.

Haha, oh don't worry, I have all of that planned out! My clan had a huge political upheaval already because a tyrant (the glorious plague-like imp I got from Qinni) arrived and asserted her dominance with tolerance for rebellion. If I go plague (I really think I will), that's going to be her forcing the clan to migrate to the Plague lands, finding that living in the windswept plains made them too 'soft'.

Kore, I think you just answered your own issues. You're wind through and through. And I have always visualised you as the most windy of anyone I've met on Petopia.

It's this sort of light-hearted friendliness that is constantly wafting around you. You're extremely likeable, and not in a cloying, annoying, in-your-face kind of way. I just find that I often feel like an indulgent mama chicken watching over her energetic little chick who blabbers and flirts and dances around. If that didn't sound too weird. It probably did.

So what are the different...flights? They affect eye color? Kinda curious to have an idea before I try to sign up on Wed.

I got what you were saying; it really touched me and made my day. I try not to be in anyone's face and let people do their own thing, but if a chance arises to help someone I will do my damndest. I guess I just had to write my thoughts out...like a said, a vacation to another flight would be cool but even that shows just how Wind I am.

I opened a thread in the Wind forum asking if people planned on changing, not judging just curious, and most responded just as fervently as I did, saying that they could never do it, and that Wind is their home. I guess I could say that's how I feel.

It feels nice to belong somewhere for once.

But Windies or not, I love my friends on here.

I feel so privileged to know you all.

Yup- the flight you choose affects the eye color of your progenitors (the first two dragons you get) and all of the babies you hatch in your lair. You also get access to a forum only people in your flight can access, and if your flight gets dominance (a weekly exalt-dragons fight!) you will get bonuses for being in your flight.
