Only if it's loud enough for the 3DS to register, but yeah, they do. I tend to speak softly, so there are times mine won't pick it up unless I speak louder or closer to the built-in mic.

I had a fun time on the skytrain with my Noibat once in the Amie. He kept picking up the sights of people around me (I was standing in the isle so lots of people moving around me) and kept asking me to make different faces. Being the derp I was, and that it was my Noibat, I made some of the stupidest faces to please him like winking and kissy faces and what not. xD I don't know if anyone was watching but I was trying so hard not to burst out laughing (and holy crap he was so NEEDYYYY he just kept asking and asking for me to make faces for him x_____x)

Only time they've ever responded to my voice was my shiny Espurr and all he ever did was tilt his body to the side and open his mouth like 'wtf r u doin' (he did this like 20+ times, also on the skytrain. I guess he was confused by all the noise xD)

It seems like the only times my pokemon ever want to interact with ME is when I'm on the skytrain... I think they're more interested in the random strangers than me

Yeah I think sound and the faces don't work properly on my 3DS or something. :/ They respond to sound and recognise my face being there every now and again, but my 3DS seems to have to be tilted *very* specifically and it just got annoying so I gave up. xD Now I just pet them and feed them and play games.

still nothing, but just my luck I stop egg hatching to do some horde farming... and I get a Shiny Stunky...

Yay, I put one of my ponyta hatchlings up on the GTS and asked for a ponyta from another region, and got a jpn ponyta! So now I'm getting eggs faster then my flame bodied flametalon can hatch them!! Really hope this cuts my shiny hunting down ^^

Hi, I just bought this Nintendo thing and this Pokemon X thing (deer looked nicer than dragon). I figured out how to get a Pikachu


Wish me luck, I haven't touched a pokemon since Red/Blue. I managed to get a Pikachu, now I just have to get a Squirtle, Dragonite, and Articuno and I'm set to match my former lineup (forgot the last spot). (I looked up Articuno at least and made sure to choose Chespin).

onto box 4 of ponyta's now, pausing occasionally to do some wonder trading. Been getting an assortment of pokemon, though nothing really "special". If anyone wants a "rash" natured ponyta, let me know, I have lots!!

I'm currently breeding Riolus that know Blaze Kick (not MMing right now, trying for a Jolly one for a trade) should anybody, erm, want one. Or three.

Edit: After two boxes and four puppies, the pup with the desired nature finally appeared, and I have two eggs left to hatch. A few of these pups have Sky Uppercut along with Blaze Kick if anybody's interested. XD

I didn't know that box existed until my bf got it for me for my bday Sylveon creeps me out, personally, but I got some cool cards and the cards of the other eeveelutions are super adorable

I need to start playing X again...the drawn out way the game was done makes it hard for me to focus on it for long periods of time (especially since it takes me HOURS to get any Pokemon I want *glares at male Pyroar with lackluster nature...sighs...and hugs him*) I adore him but...2 HOURS!? (I have ADD, so hunting for specific Pokemon gets...extremely hard for me...)
