I've always hated myself for abandoning the spirit-hydra that was tame able for a short time in sholozar... I've wanted a hydra forever and now I finally can. I wish this would be implemented before wod lol. I've waited so long already dang it.

Lol only took 'em 3 expansions! Ah well...I have no idea what I would take...have to see if they add new models.

Not to rain on anyone's parade because I hope it becomes true myself, but I see no concrete evidence in what was presented. There was a picture from a game that isn't even in beta yet but it's not absolute proof that it will be in the released product. I hope it is but we'll see.

Daniel, in another thread, one of the blues said his hydra was tamed and it wasn't the ghost hydra. They don't usually purposely create hype like that. They usually avoid it at all costs unless it's something they really are promising.

oh...my...god! Yes yes yes! at long last we can get hydras! First thing I did when I heard this was check the date to make sure April first hadn't snuck up on me. I'm so excited! I'm coming back to wow for sure now.

Daniel, in another thread, one of the blues said his hydra was tamed and it wasn't the ghost hydra. They don't usually purposely create hype like that. They usually avoid it at all costs unless it's something they really are promising.

That's exactly the post I was referring to. Again, it's from a pre beta internal version of the game with no guarantee stated that it will make it to live. We have seen things from previous expansions at this same stage that never made it into the final version of the game. It could be the result of a glitch.

Again, I hope it becomes reality but I'm not ready to jump and down in celebration yet. If and when there is a post from a developer that it is definitely happening, then I'll rejoice. That may come tomorrow. Who knows?

It's the same 'old' model, 1) what took them so long , & 2) did they even change the actions cause they didn't like them before -- either way - squee! Shame there's no ghost hydra.

I understand where you're coming from, truly. I just still lean more towards it will be implemented one way or the other since Hunters have wanted them for a very long time and they did make them a family a long while ago back in Cata(I think).

I'm personally taking this with a giant grain of salt, but if it's true, then awesome! It'd be so tempting to park myself out in the Barrens to pick up Gesharahan, but I'm going to wait till it dies down since the poor thing will probably be camped to death. x_x;
