Well looking at the Faction List, it could be from the Frostfire Ogres as they have been seen with a lot of boars in screenshots

* Frostwolf Orcs - Frostwolf Orcs like Orc-Os. FIX FACTION TRANSFER DATA
* Forelings -
* Foreling-Eaters -
* Frostfire Ogres - Frostfire Ogres are not interesting, but they do like to argue.
* Shadowmoon Orc -
* The Pale -
* Adherents of Arakk - Worshippers of the dread god Arakk, these vile filth seek to stain the world with the blood of their foes.
* Arakkoa Outcasts - Working from the shadows, the Arakkoa Outcasts seek to bring a brighter tomorrow.
* Palemoon Orc -
* Shadow Council -
* Draenei, Draenor -

Two rules:

1) Do NOT get him wet.
2) Do NOT feed him after midnight.

Looks like riverbeasts suffer from perpetually open mouth syndrome. I thought Blizzard had moved away from that. :(

I think it looks fine on the hippos though personally; on bears it looked a bit odd for example, but /shrug. That's just me.

Can someone with Twitter make the suggestion that the psudo-mounts (broomstick, Moonfang, ect.) should be made into real mounts, please. I hate having to wait for Hollows End or other once a year holidays to pull things out of my bank and play with them for 2 weeks. :| If they give us a toy we should be able to play with it whenever not once a year, I feel like I'm being punished for something. :lol: :mrgreen:

Sadly, I'm pretty sure that they wanted them to remain as they currently are. :( (I do recall someone asking and they said "not gonna happen" just recently)
It's a nice perk to keep the Holiday "festive" and keeps people involved in it (even if it's just to farm up a broom and not do the quest/daily again until the next year)

I recall they were going to do the same with the Love Rocket, but they loved the design so much they decided to make it a permanent mount and instead, very VERY rare :)

The Moonfang mount, I'm guess the same deal, keeps people keenish to down it each DMF and keeps it relevant (though to be honest the novelty wore of pretty quick for me compared to the broom mount, god I love that thing :p )

Eep. not a fan of the open mouth syndrome on the hippo. it looks really awkward when it is doing the chewing animation. Unlike other beasts that have it and look like their lips were stapled into place, this poor guy looks like someone carved a chunk out of his skull.
Hope they touch it up a bit since its all still Alpha sneak peaks.
