The red version is in too, same area. They spawn all along the mountain where Riptar is. Disregard the little Teroclaw, that's a minipet and I didn't notice it when I took the screencap.

And that screen shot right there is and EXCELLENT reason those gorgeous birds should be in the raptor family.
The more I see them ........... the new raptors are growing on me. Just a tiny bit by bit.

And. Are clefthoofs actually confirmed as tamable or are they still only a possibility????

Also, I'm not sure, but I just found this on WoWhead. If it's accurate, it's probably a bug (:(), but still:

I don't know where it is, but it would be nice if anyone were to try and find it to confirm or deny tameability. :)

Well, they could easily just say that it's another species of serpent that doesn't belong in the sea, and can levitate like the mana serpents. Then again, the mob that is tameable -is- a sea serpent. But just.. they could easily justify it. :P

I mean.. they used the cockroach model to represent a "giant isopod", and a lot of normal fish models to represent different types of fish. This could just be another type of serpent similar to the sea one that can levitate like mana serpents can. Again, I doubt it, but it would be cool. It's a very nice model.

Considering it was a dev (Muffinus) on the forum who was saying 'good news', while I wouldn't call it confirmed, I *would* call it 'highly likely enough to hold great hope'. :)

Haha. How about on land? That's the most important part, I think! And good job.

Ah, but how it looks might still be important. Perhaps if a dev sees it, and it looks good enough to them, it might be kept. I doubt it, but it always helps! :)

any screen shots of it chilling on land? Honestly its close enough to what the arcane serpents look like that I would not be too surprised if they were testing this out intentionally. Although it is strange enough that I will NOT get my hopes up and assume its not a bug.
Still though, would be nice to see some more aquatic pets since Zhang-whatever is full of water and we don't often see any ocean dwelling pets and the snake is one of the few that could work on land.
It looks a bit big but I am interested in the potability of it being a pet.

I see that Fangz has already reported about the Sea serpent, but here's some more screenshots of it on land. She's pretty big too!

Ah, yeah, nice. She's certainly too big. And I don't think she'll stick. She seems unintentional. Though, like I said, if they want, they can spin a: different species from the sea serpent, this one can use magics to levitate-story. But I doubt it. Would be cool if they did, but I just doubt it. I might tweet @Muffinus about it, because chances are he already knows, and if he doesn't, he will find out before beta ends, just for all those people who want to go "NOOO, be silent about it! Maybe it will sneak into the main game!".

Oh wow she looks lovely on land. look at all those pretty scales when she is all uncoiled! :D I would probably grab one if they made it to live. Sadly as i suspected they are quite big- probably too big to be intentional.

Muffinus just confirmed Clefthoofs in the Rhino family in the next build, and no mushan/kodo right now, and when/if we get them, they would probably be a different family.

I am happy for clefthoofs tbh. Never liked the kodo model, although I wouldn't say no to a mushan.

Though I do like the hairy clefthooves better than the scaly ones.

someday I'll find someplace to host a sig that isn't stupid money-grubbing photobucket
