I've explored Ashran...here's what I can tell ya

1: The capital cities are separate and feature the 'you can flag yourself if you want' rule on a PVE server.

2: The entire island is a pvp zone with PvE elements (like Alterac Valley)

3: The center lane of the island is where you can have mass deathmatch style fights. There's a few spots you can cap on the way across.

4: The outer areas feature the Pve stuff. Enemies and BG-style objectives: I've heard there's a direhorn race (like a Payload Race from TF2), a mine where you collect more ore than your foes, and others.

5: There are small forward camps outside the capitals where you do your turn-ins to make your team better.

6: If you like taming in the face of danger, tameable beasts are here (like black ravagers).

7: There ARE rep factions (1 per playable faction) tied to this, so keep that in mind...might be a mount source.

I've been waiting for something like this for a long time. Hopefully those skins are unique to Ashran. I'd like to use in pvp a pet that says, "be afraid, I've got a pretty good idea what I'm doing". Are any of them exotic pets, especially (non-rylak) Chimaera or Silithid?

First off, nothing unique there...everything I've seen are in other areas (Black ravagers are in Arak)

No exotics either if I recall correctly

so this mean that on a PvE server i can go there like the timelost island now and just deside if i want to be PvE or PvP ?

Well...at least when someone starts attacking you when you're taming, you can say they're helping rather than just being a bird brain

Well you are still in a pvp zone so that danger is present no matter what.

If the month beforehand is true, that sounds like a safe compromise for everyone. Plus, Oct isn't that far away...by much...

They also claimed that WoD was delayed by as much as 6 months because of having to train new staff. They say that now, there are already people working on the next expansion.

Patch 6.0 will contain the Blasted Lands intro quests for WoD as well as introduce all the new class changes (not the new race models) and the Stat squish.

Over a unique mount, that can't be gotten any other way, that is (let's face it) blindingly awesome. And that, by the original calendar, was available for only *two weeks*. When Blizzard's take on things was 'slow down and enjoy. We won't rush you to 100'.

Or, they're adding it in 6.0, a month before the initial release to give us something to do to test our new skills and stuff. Or it'll go on for a month or so, as they did say they don't plan on rushing us.

6.0 Is a good time tbh and a good lead into the expansion id say. No one is rushed then and it gives everyone something to do as well as test the stats squish.
