Seriouslly thank you. The joy you brought to my daugthers life is... i cannot even say it in words. Thank you!
We have printed out 5 copies. She has glued one on to a pillow she can sleep with. One is laminated and she carries that thing around everywhere else.. the 3 others are hanging in her room.
The shine in her eyes
I am in tears rigth now..
My troubled little girl is smiling .. really smiling...
I dont get why the comic is so special to her.. it just is
Aww, I'm so glad to see this have a happy ending ^.^ I've worked with special children myself, and sometimes something even as simple as a comic, can just give them so much joy and enjoyment. I had a girl I had to play the Broadway version of Lion King's can't wait to be king for at least 20 times if I played it once. She just lit up and laughed and danced. It truly is a priceless thing. Their joy is true and so genuine that you can't help but catch it. May some great joy come your way Cow.
You should ! I wish you could see her eyes shine each time she sees it. She had a bad day at school today but when she came home and hugged the comic her mude change to a bright little girl who is happy ..i know she is almost 17 in age but her mind is like 9 so its hard to be a teenager with hormones and have a brain who cant keep up.
Aw, that comic is adorable! Just one more reason cowmu is awesome in my book.
I think we could all learn from special needs people, and hold dearly the little things in life that bring joy. We take so much for granted, when we should be taking every opportunity to smell the roses, dance to the songs in our head, sing out loud, etc.
