Can you use the lantern when dead?

ok so it has to be something we are looking for while having the buff on, or else collecting while having the buff on.

I've walked all over FFR, SMV.. Thinking maybe she's lost, roaming somewhere. Nothing yet.

explored around SMV - went to all the suspect places - didn't find anything - killed all the rares up where lantern was too - flared in caves - did all sorts of stuff to no avail

Horde can get into Anguish - we go in the back way - nothing there though either - checked by green wolves too - searched around burial grounds

Killed Mother O again - and also tried to tame SB - nada

If you look on Wowhead - you can see Xan has attacks - so we defnly fight him.

If you also go back and look at xuseless post - it seems like we need to get another buff to add to lanterns - this might make us go into the void instead of being partially phased to it.

so we need to find a way into the void - to find Xan where Gara is probably waiting for us.

We saw the other version of Mother O - when she appears at Gara - and I assume the other version of undead Gara is when she is standing there and then Xan takes her.

Probably not in SMV - seeing that we can grab lantern a lot - that we are kinda at lvl100 content leads me to believe we need to search nagrand or lvl 100 areas in other zones.

So found some tombstones and one of them had some stuff on ground with glowy wisps coming up. When i moused over it says profaned tombstone.

Yep, I've logged and calling it a night as well... Hopefully we can think of more things to try tomorrow when we have more energy.

Lord of Glass is just... really weird. Is that supposed to be a clue or is it random like.. glass???? I'm so confused. =/

maby it has to do with something that happened with 1 of the wow staff pet aswell as person itself? like blizz made some memorials through out wow? o.0

Has anyone checked Shadowmoon Burial Grounds with the Lantern? Isn't there similar Void Lord as third boss?

Also, great work everyone, I didn't expect this thread to twice in size during the night.

I haven't been able to do any of the dungeons for this xpac yet... but that does intrigue me.
The lantern buff is an hour long so I would think that's due to you needing a lot of time.... for something?
Maybe tomorrow though. It's almost 4 am and I'm too grumpy right now.

I had a brief look solo through Shadowmoon Burial Grounds. If you camo with the void buff you are virtually invisible to mobs (could be intended, not sure) but you can only get so far as killing the first boss opens a door that allows you to proceed.

I think it would be slightly unfair to ask you to go in here as if you die you lose the buff. I guess you could grab a few lanterns - not sure how many you're allowed to carry at once - and just go through it. It's certainly an idea to explore but I'd be much more inclined to think that it is in another area and not in this dungeon.

Tried to scroll back and see if this was mentioned, but did you ever try the Shadowberry buff at the same time with the Lantern Buff? Was going to mention it last night but it as late and everyone was logging.

You can only carry one at a time, but you can have multiple buffs up at the same time. Look at Bendak's screenshot, he has like 5 lantern buffs up at once.

Lord of glass... Water and ice could be considered glass-like but otherwise I don't even have a clue.. Or what other item we might need. Hmm...

And I did try shadow berries with the lantern active.
