Toys Available That Don't Show In Toy Box Till You Get Them

With the recent launch of the Legion pre-patch...and the 'Toy' designation extending to MANY items that weren't before, we're now able to REALLY plug our way to that shiny shredder mount at the end!

However....the Toy Box doesn't show EVERYTHING. Some Toys are hidden until you get them. Here are the ones I know of so far:

1: Anglers Fishing Raft from the Anglers Faction in Krasarang.

2: Hunter's Call: A minor Glyph that made it so a mini pet appeared based on the Aspect we switched to.....now its a toy sold by a tauren in Nesingwary's Base Camp in sholazar

3: Dimensional Ripper: Everlook: Only craftable by Goblin engineers. Its a port to Everlook. Note that one of the mats for this, The Big One, requires a Goblin Rocket Fuel....which only Alchemists can make. To get the recipe for this toy....head to Everlook as a Goblin engineer and look for the teleporter....the goblin next to it will hook you up.

4: Ultrasafe Transporter: Gadgetzan: Only craftable by Gnome engineers. Port to Gadgetzan. One of the mats for this toy, the Inlaid Mithril Cylinder, is crafted by Blacksmiths. To get the schematic for this toy, go to Gadgetzan as a Gnome Engineer and talk to the gnome by the teleporter there.

5: Dimensional Ripper: Area 52: Only craftable by Goblin Engineers. There's a teleporter in area 52 with a Goblin near it. Talk to him as a Goblin Engineer and the schematic's yours.

6: Ultrasafe Transporter: Toshley's Station: Outland port for Gnome engineers. To get it, head to Toshley's Station in Blade's Edge then head north of it till you find the teleporter with a gnome near it. Talk to him. Get Schematic. Yes Horde can get this one too.

7: Wormhole Generator: Northrend: Poofs you to random areas of Northrend. Taught by Engy trainers.

8: Gnomish Gravity Well: taught by Engineer traiuners if you are Gnome spec. Not sure what this does tho...never tried it.

9: Wormhole Generator: Pandaria: taught by trainers. Poof to a random Pandaland zone!

10: Wormhole Centifuge: The Draenor Wormhole...sold by engineer plans vendors in Draenor.

11: Loot-a-rang: The original loot-a-rang. Loot from a distance. Kinda useless if you're a Hunter with Fetch and a pet tho XD

I had no idea there even was a mage fishing raft tbh XD But as far as I know, I don't think so.

Oh other toys that aren't in the book till you learn em:

Bom'bay's Color Seein' Sauce: Your screen gets a tint of one of 6 colors: Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange or Purple. The color gets more extreme over time before fading.

Whole Body Shrinka': Greatly shrinks you for 3 mins. While smol, you move slower and dmg done is reduce. Breaks when you mount up.

Sen'jin Spirit Drum: Summons three spirit drums that you can click and play.

Xan'tish's Flute: Summons snakes to follow you around for a minute.

These toys were available for a limited time during the Battlefield: Barrens patch in MoP, along with Griftah's Authentic Troll Shoes...which were a transmog for all armor types that hid your boots.

Has she been removed? I checked on my alliance and horde characters today on the beta and both her and the building she was standing in are gone.

Maybe it's phased? I know that area was used for the ship to Vashj.. but it'd be weird to require you to do the starting quests for Vashj to get it. Are there any other quests that use the area?

I was on the beta, but I am testing a few things to see if I can get her to show up.

Well the picture was taken yesterday, rather this morning, in beta, she is still there. I have no idea if you guys are phased or not. Not sure how ur ally toon didn't get mobbed either.

It must be some sort of phasing thing. I can't seem to make her show up on my 110 or fresh copies I did. This is how the area looks for all of my characters.

I tried it with a lvl 96, 100 and 110. It was the same for all of them. I am not trying to argue with you, I am just honestly stumped.

So it appears that it is linked to phasing and progression.

None of the characters that completed the broken isles scenario had her show up. I also tried several characters that had not completed the scenario and she did not show up for my level 96 Hunter who was primarily dungeon leveled and wouldn't have done any quests that might have caused phasing in that area (she was the one in the screenshot). She also didn't show up for my level 100 Rogue that I had boosted when I pre-purchased legion or for the fresh 100 character I had created. Based on Lupen's comment about Vashj'ir, I faction changed my 100 Alliance hunter that know has all of the Cata portal stuff unlocked and once the change went through the NPC showed up (she was the same Alliance character that I had tried out there earlier). I was just now running my goblin hunter through the Vashj'ir stuff when the server went down for maintenance, but once it comes back up I will finish it out so I can see if the phasing is just linked to Vashj'ir or another low level quest. I will let you know what I figure out, thanks for all the suggestions that could be causing the issue.

Update:
The Vashj'ir stuff sadly didn't change anything and I couldn't find any other quests that would phase the area, so it is seems to be only be phased to characters who are under level 100 (I was hoping this was not the case so players who do not have a level 100 horde alt can still get the toys). I decided to copy my goblin hunter over again since she is now level 100 on live and the NPC showed up. She still doesn't show up for level 100 characters you create, but that might be something to do with how those characters are programmed in the beta. I also have no idea why she wasn't showing up for the rogue, but that may have had something to do with her being an older beta copy and not having the quest to go to Orgrimmar in her log. In any case I just copied her back over and accepted the quest to go to Orgrimmar, and this time the NPC showed up. Now I am going to go see if there is an Alliance NPC that offers some sort of old toys or goodies.
