Re: Battle for Azeroth creatures
According to Red Shirt Guy/Ian Bates, there's also an updated tarantula model.

Awesome! I suspect I'll be able to hear Veph scream all the way from Australia when she reads thisQraljar wrote:According to Red Shirt Guy/Ian Bates, there's also an updated tarantula model.

I haven't seen a sign of it, so that's odd, but Ian's not the kind of guy to lie about that.Wain wrote:Awesome! I suspect I'll be able to hear Veph scream all the way from Australia when she reads thisQraljar wrote:According to Red Shirt Guy/Ian Bates, there's also an updated tarantula model.
And yeah, it's something I wanted a whole lot myself.

Is "crawg" their official name? Do you happen to know the name of those isopod things?Keilden wrote:

Looks like we really gonna need more stable master slots.
Re: Battle for Azeroth creatures
Sorry if any like these have already been posted...
New colour of raptor. Hopefully one of a range of new ones:
I'm unsure, as it was in the background in a dark scene, but this almost looks like a black eagle. It was in the first zone video for Kul Tiras. Maybe it's just the lighting, though...
These things (crawgs?) look like evil pollywogs. Since the trolls worship some kind of frog loa, perhaps they are! Maybe that's what they meant by "frog mount" in the presentation.
The armour detailing on the "isopod" is very nice. And it seems the skins come in a variety of colours at least ranging from grey to white to lavender, unless this is just lighting effects:
Poor little dino is about to be crushed by the brachiosaur:
Another shot of the updated horse model. It looks like it's not a massive overhaul, just a nice touch-up, which is appreciated. Not sure about the zebra / centurion helmet-style mane, though. :

Re: Battle for Azeroth creatures
The Blood Loa, G'huun, is one of the main enemies in Zandalar. He has the ability to corrupt other Loa, which he may have done to the frog loa and/or his children.
I really, really hope we get those brachiosaurs as mounts and/or pets.

Re: Battle for Azeroth creatures
No matter how many times I see them, I really want a Crawg and Isopod as pets. I wonder how BM will be handled in the wake of Hati being removed, because I'd make a Zandalar Troll Hunter just to have both of them out at once.

The new horse models are amazing *_*
Re: Battle for Azeroth creatures
I like the draft horses. They look neat but I've always loved the draft breeds.

Re: Battle for Azeroth creatures
We need tameable crawgs, so that I can name one Dart (from Stranger Things)
And oh my god the horses! I have been wanting good horses SO badly!

Re: Battle for Azeroth creatures
Me too. Ian said it was in the current Alliance demo questing zone, so maybe when more vids of that questing pop up, we might be able to spot it.Vephriel wrote:GASP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wain wrote:Awesome! It seems like theres multiple mane styles. Cause in this shot you can see the usual, longer mane. Two in fact... parted differently.
Maybe the centurion one will be for the "seabraid stallion" datamined, which I assume is CE? With armor/additions ofc.
All I know is, we 100% are getting skyscreamers finally. If we don't ... I'll flip. But seems obvious these new pteras will be part of a family with the old skyscreamers. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Also if we don't get a devilsaur mount I'll be pretty ticked too. Oondasta please. T_T

Re: Battle for Azeroth creatures
In an interview, they revealed that cats (battle pet cats) will receive updated models, and they will have varying appearances. Some will be fluffy, some will have fluffy heads and short-haired bodies (and vice versa), some will be skinny, some will be fat, and some will do things like eating fish.
Re: Battle for Azeroth creatures
I hope Brontosaurs are the new repair mount. You can't get through doors on any repair mounts anyways, so I don't think it's a big deal their so tall.

Re: Battle for Azeroth creatures
I'd fork over all of my gold for it if I had to. Easy. I haven't been this hyped for a mount in A LONG time.
I do hope it's at least a three seater ( or more) if not a repair mount.
Only other thing I'm almost as hyped for is:
hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhng
