Anyone know if the Timeless Isle back door is there and working? That would be an easy way to Draenor that skips the intro

Edit: Yes, it's there and it works.

So, get the quest for Pandaria, skip out on the actual quests and fly off to the Timeless Isle, find the cave between the frogs and the ship, and voila, Draenor!

Oh, I completely forgot that existed! Thanks!

That’s fantastic! Thanks :) I’ll have to start updating the database as soon as I get home and get a chance.

You're welcome :) I just skipped over the ones with no known location listed, since I don't know what else to do about those.

That's good. Most of them will be NPCs that never made it into the game but somehow made it into the cache that Wowhead mined, or were removed during testing, or retired a long time ago. Rarely one is in the game but just has bad data. Note that if you look at the BfA page version then the location data are often missing.

I'm focusing initially on old world stuff since that's unlikely to change much once it's made tameable. New expansion stuff always changes a lot before release so I tend to delay adding it to the database.

There are some frogs on Zandalar and Kul Tiras, which are included on my list. For example, there is a tamable MoP frog named Croaker in Stormsong Valley.

Hmm, the Wowhead page for the Striped-Back Bullfrog:
http://www.wowhead.com/npc=109303/strip ... g#comments
... makes me wonder if it's an NPC that only spawns during a herbalism world quest.

The one image shows some sort of plant node right by the frogs, and the one comment mentions that they're playing leapfrog. The antics remind me of the dancing foxes in Highmountain, which are also associated with a herbalism quest.

It's just a guess at this point but it may require further investigation :/

That will probably have to wait till Character Copy is available, since I don't think that WQs on the Broken Isles are automatically unlocked and it would take a while to unlock them.

It's possible if the WQ is up that everyone can see it, though. I have a feeling we can see the dancing foxes when they're up, but I've not managed to catch them since the Legion beta.

Two of the new frog/toad models are usually used for critters/minipets, but there's a couple of beasts that use the models. Hex frog, Blight Toad, and Striped River Toad are the ones I see on wowhead. They have lower detail than the other two models, but it's still a lot higher detail than the original frog critter model. I don't know where any of them are, but they're worth beast loring if anyone runs across them.

They're on the list. The Plague Toad is in Waycrest Manor. The Hex Frog is in the Temple of Sethraliss. The Striped River Toad is in Zuldazar. All are untamable, last I checked.

Do any NPCs use the higher quality non-loa version of the loa model yet? I wasn't aware of any. A couple of those that Xota listed could be switched to use it, if they remain as beasts.

Plague Toad, I don't know where it is, or if it's attackable, but from the name, I'd suspect it was meant to be.
