Smoochums uses the white fluffy cat model. Blizz will probably gradually release all of the models as time goes on.

But, he uses the puddle one and he's a ghost; I meant the shaggy alive cats.

As someone who has a Space Goat Shammy alt, this is great news!

I hope that means all races are gonna get nice totem updates!

Dunno if this is the right thread but Blizzard seriously need to fix rep rewards. As it stands most things besides mounts (woo ponies?) are pretty much useless at exalted and even things like pets require a separate grind. Maybe it's just me but I've more than outgeared a 350ish reward by the time I've hit cap and then I have zero motivation to do those dailies as all the rewards are 340 or less.

Even had a guild discussion on how useless exalted with champions of azeroth is as you don't get additional levels to your neck or anything - and it being the slowest grind too motivates me even less beyond revered.

Wain pointed out to me they are going to do paragon caches again (which is a good thing) but I think we need something else in the meantime as well.

I agree, and this has been discussed in-depth by youtubers like Bellular (has an interesting video on BfA's problems). Unfortunately, aside from Paragons being readded, it doesn't look like there is going to be much else done in regards to BfA reps.

It's been the case for many expansions now that rep rewards are about 80-90% useless by the time you get the rep. Surely they must design it that way (could they get it that wrong by accident?) and it makes me wonder why they bother. If the pieces were BoA it would be something - getting rep on your main helps you with your alts - but they're otherwise crap.

For vanity item rewards, this expansion is the worst it's ever been - they require a special currency in addition to the rep. This is double-dipping on the part of the designers, requiring two separate grinds for one reward, and is a terrible design.

I believe the proper term is "overgating"

Sargman (Void Elf) Terokkar
Serkrun (Orc) Dentarg
Untamabull (Tauren) Area 52
Sargmar (Blood Elf) Alexstrasza

If you're taking my posts 100% seriously, you're probably 150% too serious to read them.

I was (again) noticing that the highest level crafted gear was all but useless as well by the time you can actually go out and make it.

And I don't relish having to rep grind every. single. one. of my toons to learn the damned crafting recipes.
I'm seriously thinking of just dropping any professions that don't award mounts or pets.
I'm have multiple alts (at least one for each profession) at 110+.

But the rep grind is so damned slow, and most of the recipes are from the turtlepeople, and only available at revered. So almost maxed rep, and from one of the harder factions to raise rep. Nice going Blizzard.

A bit of palindromic wisdom:
"Step on no pets!"
Casual player.. don't raid, don't PvP. Suffer from extreme altitis
I love pets - combat or non.

Despite the risk of being ridiculed again, I'ma post my 2 cents about his model.
I find his chin a bit odd. Maybe it's not his chin though. Maybe just like.. his jowls? I'm not really sure, but it looks more like the human model than the sleek, narrow BE face.
He still looks good though. He looks like's dealt with a lot of BS.
My BF is praying that he's wearing the BE heritage armor, but I have my doubts since it's on a Race leader. I don't think we normally get Race leader armors. Still pretty neat though.

Also, damn that's a lot of hairgel.

Siggy under construction!

I'm hoping the heritage stuff is like the guards in Sunwell armour or something similar. There's certain bits you could never get transmog wise.

I have a feeling it'll be close to the guard armour as that's classic BE.

I like how the most irrelevant Horde leader finally got some love. It's an absolute SIN that a worthless gobbo got a unique model before the OG extra leader. I don't give two butts about the Horde, and I give even less butts about boring elves, but they definitely deserved a leader that looked like more than a fodder enemy in generic RPGs. Now he looks like a ranger general, not a general npc. His armor is absolutely awesome, but it's a shame I'll never get it since I don't care for blood elves.

Now if only the Gnomes and Dwarves had unique leader designs instead of a dull mechanic and and Dwarven Sylvanas.
