Mushrooms?
Well, we've all had lots of time to explore BFA now. So, has anyone found a mushroom vendor in their travels? My rodents haven't had a meal in months. And don't suggest Legion food that looks like it should be a mushroom. None of that turned out to be recognized as food by a pet. I had to use the humongous fungus from the previous expac, but it's too low level now.

Re: Mushrooms?
There are mushrooms that you can find in Stormsong if you equip the pig snout, but I'm not sure if they count.

Re: Mushrooms?
I know this is a long shot, but has anyone experimented with Free-Range Dino Chow? The flavor text is "Complete nutrition for beasts of all shapes and sizes".
Re: Mushrooms?
That's only available to Horde, so I doubt that'd be it. It's for the Kua'fon questline for Horde.

As for the topic, theres one Mushroom Vendor in BFA (well, two but one's friendly to Horde, one to both):
Horde: https://www.wowhead.com/npc=138065/battersnoosh
Alliance/Horde: https://www.wowhead.com/npc=124034/golkada
They sell: https://www.wowhead.com/item=163134/no-morel-truffle
(Battersnoosh sells a second mushroom)
It's a level 115 Mushroom.
To my knowledge, the highest level mushroom, and it should work for a level 120 pet. I'd fancy-fy the links and/or test the mushrooms in game but I've been up all night. Lol.

Re: Mushrooms?
Now I have to go get a pig snout.
And thank you, Myzou! I will go check that out right away!
Edit: No Morel Truffles work! Battersnoosh's Toadstools also work!

Scallion Kimchi from legion vendors (and one BfA Alliance vendor in Vol'dun) counts as a fungus.Teigan wrote:And don't suggest Legion food that looks like it should be a mushroom. Re: Mushrooms?
Scallion Kimchi would be onions, radishes and cabbage, so that is extremely weird! Good to know though, thank you.
