9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
Though the ptr for 9.1.5 hasn't yet dropped, it looks like it'll be happening fairly soon based off of Blizz posting new customization options coming in 9.1.5. As such, I have made this thread in anticipation for it.

Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
I’m glad you posted this, I predict that soul eaters, skeleton horses, and korthia beasts will be tameable, they’ll probably flag extra beasts tameable, like beavers and maybe armadillos
Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
I just hope there ARE some new beasts to tame!

Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
It’s wanting the grubs for me
Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
The rest of the wild cloud serpent colours (leave the trick tames like FP ones and the ivory mob alone, let them stay unique).
Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
Gromits and Corpseflies please. :3
Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
All of them! But probably the wilderlings are my number one

Pet devourer beasts. I can only hope. Gromits and other Korthia beasts. I have other hopes with past model tames.

Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
I also think the same, wilderlings should be flagged tameable, as well as corpseflies, gromits, Razorwings, soul eaters(please let us tame winged ones too), beavers, bone horses, armadillos, brutosaurs(juveniles work best for pets), we need the rest of the beasts, I’m still dying to have a rotting undead horse on my main

I mean, Aquilons already were in a sense. Corpseflies and Gromits are good, though. Rip Wilderlings?
Kunchong for hunter pets!
Thanks to Moonlost for the awesome avatar!

Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
Probably because Wilderlings really don't fit any existing families. Corpseflies fit into wasps and gromits, I assume, will be in toads. The best solution would be to merge them with Cloud Serpents and make their own family.

Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
Where is my skyrats?!(Razorwings) Come on blizz they can be category with feathermanes...
Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
Making a new family that is Ferocity for the Wilderlings and Cloud Serpents would be so awesome. But I doubt we'd see that as a patch. But hope springs eternal right?

Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
It's a start. I'm sure with all the good things happening that they'll continue to add things. Just gotta gently push. HOORAY FOR GROMITS THOUGH, because that's a new tameable model. Not just a reskin on an existing skeleton, but it's our first time being able to use that skeleton. The Oracles from WotLK, the Vermin from MoP, and I think another used it, but we couldn't tame those. Gromits are a very welcome addition.Qraljar wrote: ↑Wed Sep 01, 2021 9:13 pm

Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
It's always possible that more will be, but these were the easiest to implement. I'm not sure at this stage.
Regarding new devs helping out with pets:
Jackie Wiley has been working on gromits for 9.1.5, perhaps more:

Sarah Cotner has also been involved in these new additions, and may be taking a broader role in hunter pets.
I'm unsure if Sarah or Jackie read the Petopia forum, but a warm thank you to both of them, and a welcome to Team Pets!

Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
Gromits are adorable so I'm very hyped for those! I seriously hope we see a new Warp Stalker model around somewhere. The model is so nice!
Re: 9.1.5 PTR Beast Thread
I could see Wilderlings being rolled into Feathermanes tbh.

I just hope they don't make gromits cunning pets.
