TWW Pet Wishlist and Requested Changes
Moderator Note: any suggestions/requests/wishes that don't specifically pertain to NPCs already found or changed in TWW can be added to this thread.
Throwing in some appearance suggestions that I'm sure most of us would already ask anyway;

- Add tameable versions of the Harronir bat transformation under the Bat family
- Add tameable versions of the flying gargoyle-shaped Nerubians under the... uh... Carapid family?
- Add tameable versions of the "Cloudrooks" under either the Feathermane or Spirit Beast families
- Add unused skins to newer NPCs, such as unused crab skins being applied to crabs introduced in The War Within (Far too many to list; just sprinkle a few in, here and there!)

- Enable taming for Protected Faerie Dragon found in The Emerald Dream under the Lesser Dragonkin family
- Enable taming for the various Magma Slugs found throughout the Dragon Isles under the Carapid family

- Enable taming for Ango'rosh Hunter found in Talador under the Hound family
- Enable taming for Arachnis found in either garrison under the Spider family
- Enable taming for Iron Juggernaut found in Siege of Orgrimmar under the Mechanical family (yes, I know it'd have missing parts. Wouldn't be the first scorpid like that!)

Re: TWW Pet Bugs & Suggestions
I agree with the whole thing, I think the flying nerubians still fit better in blood beasts, despite the carapace.
A few more suggestions to add here
- Enable taming for deepflayers and winged deepflayers under the bat family
- Enable taming for skeletal horses under the courser family
- Enable taming midnight under the courser family
- enable taming for Midnight(legion version) under the courser family
- enable taming for the rest of the skunk colors in the emerald dream
- enable taming for fol’yas and pineshrews under the rodent family
- enable taming for Protected Whimsydrakes under lesser dragonkin
- enable taming for feywings under lesser dragonkin
That’s all I have I guess

Re: TWW Pet Bugs & Suggestions
Right now Clefthoofs, Lesser Dragonkin, and Scalehides are the best pets for levelling and solo content to the point they seem the only viable options for lower-skilled hunters like me. My suggestion is to balance this, though I'm not quite sure how. Also, it's weird how Ferocity pets are better tanks than Tenacity. All pets should easily be able to tank outdoor pve content.
Enable taming for the August Celestials looks.
Enable taming for the missing cloud serpent colors.
Enable taming for draenor feywings.
Enable taming for the undead bears in Krasarang Wilds.
Enable taming for the Zandalari Warbringers' pterodaxes.
Enable taming for Throne of Thunder snails.
I've been playing a lot of remix if that's not obvious.
I deeply appreciate the hard work and support we're given, thank you to whoever reads these, regardless of implementation. ^w^
Edit: oh, and this is kind of out there, but a ghost shark spirit beast would be rad as hell!

Re: TWW Pet Bugs & Suggestions
It's still a longshot and has no real chance of happening, but I still think there's no downsides to allowing us to choose the specialization of a Hunter pet.
Re: TWW Pet Wishlist and Requested Changes
The only wish I have is for the ability to change our pets' specs.

Yes for all of this!

Re: TWW Pet Wishlist and Requested Changes
I want that undead gorilla.
Primal protodrakes, if we can tame fairie dragons we can tame them. They are about as smart as each other. I'd honestly say fairy drakes are smarter.
The hd Wyvern models, Plus the armoured variant.
I want slimes.
But most importantly. I want the ability to change my pet spec.
even with the nerf to leech, i'm still gonna pick a ferocity pet over almost everything else. GIVE US A SIMPLE PET TALENT TREE!

Re: TWW Pet Wishlist and Requested Changes
I posted asking for a check on this in the beta beast thread but might as well stick it here too... Grand Wyverns pls! It's been so long since updated Gryphons...
Re: TWW Pet Wishlist and Requested Changes
My first and foremost change:
Make Gorm Matriarchs tamable - BFA has been out for quite some years at this point, and I think we're long overdue for these buggers, been wanting them ever since Shadowlands was teased and these were discovered
Allow us to change pet specs, Hunter has felt worse ever since this change
Reinstate most retired pets. FOMO is never fun for anyone.

Re: TWW Pet Wishlist and Requested Changes
I also really really really want them to either overhaul the specializations, let us pick them, or remove them. At the very least I'd really like Spirit Beasts to be Ferocity again so I can take my most special looking tames into dungeons and raids, why did they change them to tenacity?
(Also, fix the celestial dragon model's selection hitbox)

Increase owlbear tame size for feathermanes
Change Tela'rhun to spirit beast or make it not exotic
Implement the rugged warp stalker finally

Re: TWW Pet Bugs & Suggestions
God, yes, please.
With all armor class transmog etc there is no real reason anymore for set pet specialization to be a thing anymore.
I guess there there could be a slippery slope argument to be done regarding what to do with pet family special attack/ability but honestly it's vague at best.
Current system rings, to me, of old "rulebook codex" stubbornness like dead zone, ranged only, mail class downsides, humans can't be Hunters etc.
They are only there now because they were there before.
Personally I'm kind of happy that ferocity leech is lowered as tenacity becomes more tempting in PvE. I used it at times in DF even before nerf but only if I was raiding and I had need to deal with spike damage only.
But again, why is pet specialization set in stone still? It was fun in Cataclysm, with pet talent trees (crab intercepts ret pala stun mwahaha).
But this watered down version, that is better in general than Cataclysm tbf, still isn't needed. As far as I can see, there isn't any easy to spot reason. It only "softcaps" which pets are used while there are so much lovely pets that blizzard spent so much time in creating to begin with.
In most other areas of the game blizzard have actively taken a stance to avoid "cookie cutter" choices for players and even regarding pets!! (Broken Tooth 1.0 s swing timer anyone?)
I was having so much hopes for TWW. It felt like such an open goal that I, I realize now, I had more or less counted on it happening.
I've still but given up on this possibly being in the pipeline.
Had anyone a good argument against such a change, I'm willing to listen!
Re: TWW Pet Wishlist and Requested Changes
I don't want a pet tree, but I so do want us to respec our pets. I've been able to use my dragonkin last expansion for the most cases but now they are becoming squishy. ;( I don't want to be stuck using a clefthoof this entire expansion.
