I will say Blizzard promoting a culture of "having something someone else won't ever have" in things like retired mounts, or retired pets doesn't help this situation.
Devs for blizzard have sadly came and went, and sure certain visions for the community has changed, but encouraging people to run the hamster wheel to chase the unobtainable to show off in the major cities has not changed at all.
Different, more out of touch devs that don't understand or perhaps don't care to understand the community. We're also a long cry away from Vanilla where you have immortal figures of legend who get one-of-a-kind necklace legendaries whose tales persist throughout the generations, where nowadays that dude would get rolled back and axed instantly because it wouldn't be fair to their esports world first raiders.

He might be meaning that it isn’t something that we just go up and tame, which is the case for most tamable beasts. Seeing as Aradan can be spawned in the follower dungeon, it’s possible that the difficulty doesn’t matter.
Having looking through the database, I haven’t noticed any items or spells that stand out.
And you’re right in that it is possible that Aradan isn’t working as intended and that the dev is wrong. Based on Blizz’s track record with special tames, that is entirely possible.
Something else to bear in mind is that however Aradan is meant to be tamed, it is likely something that is easy and repeatable, since Aradan can spawn in different head feather styles.
It also most likely doesn’t have anything to do with the stormrook mount and pet, since that would require players to spend additional money just to get them.
Stormrooks have over 9,999,999,999 look combos, it will be near impossible for Wain to generate all of them unless he wants to put all the time into it. I like the concept of another secret spirit beast, but I don’t play BM
For the first time I’m saying this, but currently, without leech gear(maybe with) tenacity outperforms ferocity in solo content and delves. Since the leech nerf, having extra health is a little more beneficial, and the fortitude of the bear, is also an extra heal button with a health increase as well. Exhilaration cooldown reduction is better now than in DF, so we can press it more frequently. Hopefully the leech gear will bring glory back to the nerfed ferocity pets

I've still been using my ankylodon out of habit. I guess I need to start using an actual tanky pet again.

Ferocity pets are still handy in some situations, it’s quite useful in group content if there are no lust button classes. Scalehides, gorillas, and the dodge pets seem to be the best ones. Lesser dragonkin were pretty strong in dragonflight, but became squishy for some odd reason. Once we get leech gear, I would be happy to switch between the two specs

The very thought makes me want to curl up in a ball.
Yeah, I'd say do what Danny suggests.
Possible Tail Styles
Possible Head Styles
Possible Colors
Only make the combos for those that are present ingame. Would absolutely cut down on how much work is needed, especially since we don't strictly NEED the images of every possible combo.

Playing again since expac launch has really made me notice a lot of minor annoyances with Hunters and pets (I love the class please don't think I'm a hater lol). I don't think exotics should be locked to BM at this point. I have 0 desire to play BM and that feels punishing to keep several beast families locked to one spec. To add, pets should be able to choose specs. I hate that my cunnings pets are borderline useless. Most of what I like to use are cunning too =/ It's actually crazy that at this point, we still can't do this.
I really hope that if they add more hero talents that MM gets a spec that synergizes solely with a single pet. Or a hero talent tree that makes survival a ranged spec again. That one pet/ranged hunter fantasy simply doesn't exist anymore and that's sad. (MM with a pet is the closest, but it has 0 synergy).
If I read correctly through the thread, only one dev works on this stuff and only in their free time. So, while I just listed a lot of stuff that I dislike, what that dev does for my class is amazing and I really appreciate their hard work!
