New Spirit Beast "Aradan" in the Rookery

Is it possible to use the Sliver of N'zoth to tame Aradan? Clearly not the intended way to tame him but, generally speaking, as a technicality?

It's also no longer obtainable. So only people who already have it would be able to use it if it did work.

Found this in the Aradan thread on the secret discord. There is an item called "Void-Scarred Stormhammer" but no clue yet where to get it and what to do with it, but the imprint is interesting. Maybe this has something to do with how to tame it.

I was for over 7 hours now in the dungeon during my shift and tried so much different things but no chance at all to get the bird tameable. there are almost 3900 answers in the thread for Aradan already on the discord and we are not one step further

The dev who created the Aradan mystery re-confirmed and he has an Aradan in his stable, so it's possible and the hunter spotted was either the dev or someone else who knows. Either way, doesn't seem like glitches are involved and it is legit unlike the mistaken yes-it's-in-the-game-oh-whoops-one-second Panthara event.

It is not bugged, dev was in Secret Finding Disc and tamed Aradan to make sure it worked. He linked his stable with evidence then subsequently abandoned the beast

It's under water near some rocks. IT DOES NOT SPARKLE. It's not consumed on use. FOLLOWERS DO NOT ATTACK ARADAN. The healer won't even heal you. Aradan drops no loot and is not skinnable. You can use it to help other hunters tame Aradan.

Yay! Now to try to add those stormrook looks! Wow dot tools' model viewer doesn't render the rooks properly and it's going to take some work.

I tried to read the secret finder thread (I normally try to avoid the place) but it's a wall of babble so I'll go from the info here and on Wowhead

I'm so glad we finally have a tameable stormrook.

But I wish they'd added more, rather than try to concentrate the looks onto one NPC. Perhaps I'm too particular about it, but it really annoys me when a named, singular NPC, comes in multiple looks for no reason. Like, imagine if Anduin just showed up with pale skin, red hair and a moustache in one quest, and in the next he has brown skin with blonde hair and a beard, and the next he's tanned with grey hair and clean shaven. For no reason. It would have been better if the hammer worked on a bunch of rooks in the instance, or something.
