I'd be surprised if we got a hidden spirit beast, but who knows? There just aren't enough staff left with enough spare time to give us more than one (very niche) pet family every other expansion now, let alone stuff like that. And there's probably little they can do about that.

Having said that, there's a pango loa model just ready to roll:

While most loa models look less like a wild creature, this one is just a pango with extra effects and would work perfectly.

I could've sworn the loa pango was for some loa you help in Zul'Aman. Am I just misremembering? Haven't quested on beta in a while, what with launch being so soon, so I might be wrong.

It is, yes. There is a small questline where you help a Pango Loa that uses that model.

Can’t wait to play midnight next week, yes I bought the epic edition, I’m going to take advantage to level up and then take tame whatever pets we can, especially rares. I’ll also finally get to pay more attention to the quests and storyline

If anyone is playing the beta and has access to Voidstorm and could please help!

(I'm locked out)

Could you please check if you can see the following two creatures:

- Blistercreep, with ID 250564. Should be found in many places through the zone but may have been removed. May also only appear on certain days.
- Void-Crazed Crawler, with ID 255182 (a warp stalker). Should be found in Storm Fields.

Thanks for your help! :)

Blistercreep: in the trench just above the "of" in "Bastion of Valor, and all along the trenches too. The world quest "Where Shadows Gather" is active in this area, so I do not know if this is relevant to their spawn. Still looking for the Void-Crazed Crawler, but I don't know where "Storm Fields" is located since there's no area by that name when hovering over the map. I looked at every flat area that could be called a field, but no luck yet since it's not "Storm Fields".

Yeah either I'm blind, or "Storm Fields" isn't a zone lol. I also did a full flyby of the zone, as tedious as it is to constantly be warned about the instakill mechanic every so often, and couldn't find that crawler.

The Storm Fields is south of the first hub when you enter the zone. It is the area with a bunch of void portals.

Oh, it's inside of The Ingress. Well that's silly. Anyway, I went through that whole area, and the Void-Crazed Crawler was not present. It's either A) only there at the start of the zone prior to unlocking the quest hub, B) part of a world quest, or C) no longer in the game.

Thanks so much for checking! :)

So, the Blistercreeps can effectively be found in a trench north-east of Bastion of Valor? And when you say "all along the trenches too" do you mean just the trench(es) in that spot, or trenches in other parts of the zone? Just so I can get the description right in the database :)

I'll delete the Void-Crazed Crawler for now. Maybe it's linked to a WQ and time will tell.

I'm also curious if the following two Grudge Pit, Harandar mobs are linked to a World Quest. I've seen them before but haven't found them lately:
- Ingester Glorbus (243776) - jellyfish (I'm tracking jellyfish even if they're not tameable)
- Torbrul (243778) - waterstrider

I'll keep checking those.

One last thing: anyone know if the Raging Raptor in the Voidscar Arena dungeon has been updated? It was using the vanilla red raptor model, so looked extremely dated.

They were using classic models for a couple of Zul'Aman crocs but they have updated those to the Cata model recently so I'm hoping the raptor was done as well.

FYI, in case you haven't noticed, the regular pages for Wowhead show more recent updates for Midnight NPCs than the Beta pages do. The Amani Crocolisks still show the old model on the Beta site. Some other updates are the same.

Regarding the Blistercreeps, it was all along that area, not the whole zone. I didn't check every single little crack though, so I might have missed em, but they seemed to only be in that specific area.
I feel like I did see those crawlers when I first unlocked the zone, but as you said, we'll find out between now and the first day of Early Access since some crazy fool probably has an 80-90 route already made lol.
I THINK the Grudge Pit mobs just change randomly. I know what water strider you mean, and I too have seen it before, but I know the enemies that fight in the center change over time (don't know how often, probably twice a week?). I don't think they are tied to a world quest, but I could be wrong.
I haven't actually done any dungeons besides those required for campaign progression on the beta, so I can't offer any words for that one.

As for the database, I don't trust that anymore. I stopped trusting it in mid-TWW. Wowhead's database handlers have gotten so slack that it's borderline infuriating. I regularly looked through the database for... "other" purposes, but kept running into situations where the info provided is just wrong. Now, when I look for an NPC, I literally just throw together a macro with /tar <name> and go to the areas it should be found. I recently got interested in having unusual IDs for my tamed pets, and I like to go find obscure IDs that have the lowest taming rates. Hell, I've found a few that had a 0% tame rate, like many of the serpents that were flagged back when normal snakes became tameable. Going through the world and manually checking NPCs is tedious, sure, but at least I'm getting ACCURATE information this way without having to question if Wowhead is actually up to date or not. It has actually been kind of fun to go find things this way, because it feels like actually playing a game with limited knowledge, having to figure things out myself. I know I sound pretty negative here, but man, I've been disappointed constantly recently by Wowhead so it's justified lol.
