Its cheezy. Its silly. Its probably very subject to change. Its the first thing you plan to do when Cata hits. These threads usually get started closer to, but I've always been a trend-breaker like that...

Especially you beta testers that are "sampling the goods" right now. Fill us in on the "must do first" lists you're no doubt working on compiling right now!

Oh and BTW, Mania, if you have any clout with Blizz and I mean ANY at all... skoll themed hawk spirit beast... named Chidori... c'mon... They can't possibly pass up an idea with so much firmly packed win. I'm just sayin. That or a deathwing themed Chimaera... with TWICE THE CHIN!!!

The first thing I'm actually gonna do is re-tame my red hyena....

Since my current one (and my closest pet ever, leveled with him from 34-80) is apparently going to turn into an ugly mastiff

So I'll be releasing Jia into the Tanaris wilds for a little breaktime, and picking him up again as soon as Cata hits...the locals have given him a silly name like 'Slaverjaw,' but it's still my Jiaphyon, they just don't know it.

Geez, what won't I do when Cata hits.

First is probably the massive taming spree, then focusing on getting Veph to 85. During this time I'll also have created my new characters (Undead Hunter, Troll Druid, Goblin Shaman) and will most likely play them intermittently.

I'll be so torn by all the things to do at once! xD I'll want to explore the new world, go looking for new pets, try out the new classes/races, get to 85...gah!

Azu or Fire will likely level up to 85, probably Azu first, since Firewing has always been leveled first, and I'll get to savor it, and the pets, more with her. I'll also make my worgen druid, rogue, and human hunter.

I'll most likely test out a Worgen (after waiting a week or so, otherwise getting those quests done will be a nightmare/ realms crashing. @.@)

Or otherwise, maybe test an Undead Hunter/or the other Hunter additions, like stables. :3

I know what I'm NOT doing. Quests. Yep, with the few quests in wrath and vanilla that put you into a phased state or did something to an unanimal that later allowed you to tame it....

I missed out on the Garwal one because of achievements with my own hunter.

I'm leaving all that open this time. Achievement points really aren't worth anything in my book. I'll just be missing out on some gold while I level. Even if later blizz will "fix" these kinds of pets at least I'll get a shot at them. The challenge of the tame is where it's at for me.

That's a very good point Tygamoon. I don't think I could stop myself from questing, but I'll definitely go forwards cautiously and keep my eyes open for any pet info or news along the way.

I'm going to get my main to the 85 first and pick up any pets along the way too. <3 Going to avoid the Worgen and Goblin starting zones for a bit as they will be PACKED. I remember back when BC was released. I made a mistake of rolling both a Blood Elf and a Dreanei... Yeah. >>

I'll wait a day or two before rolling my Worgen and Goblin. XD

Hehe, maybe I'm just odd, but I kinda love that rush of people when a new expansion is released. ^^ I created Veph the day BC came out and I had so much fun seeing all the activity as my boyfriend and I plowed through levels. Especially lately in the game with everything being so unpopulated, having a crowd will be nice.

Actually, with the LFG tool I'm kinda thinking someone could, you know, in theory, level from 80-85 on nothing but instances... Grinding instances might not be all that much fun, but if you are on a PvP server, its actually not a half bad way to avoid contention before being max level again. And the loot usually isn't too bad at all either...

Especially tank or healer related characters who love those support roles and want to directly beef up tanking/healing gear without putting much thought to the whole dps spec... I think I'll raise my druid that path if I can get away with it. Full resto leveling, the easy way.

Pets, pets, and more pets! There's not a Stable Master in all of Azeroth who won't recognize me! Muah ha ha!

And when my taming appetite has been fully satisfied, I plan to alternate my time between leveling new alts (Undead Hunter, woohoo) and getting my mains to lvl 85.

Leveling is at the top of my list! Get the boring stuff out of the way while I can, then maybe go look for a new pet but I would get stuck in exploring and forget why I went to that area in the first place ^^'
I doubt I would make a neew alt even with all the new races/classes I like my current characters as it is.

The first thing I will do is sit there and wonder where on earth I should begin.
I'll probably explore around, seeing the damage caused. I can't imagine how crowded the starting zones will be, especially for the new races, so I won't be doing that for at least a week or so. Probably more.

The first thing I'm gonna do is spend two hours fighting with my computer to install it. I swear, my computer takes joy in being so stubborn it requires a raid to just get it to do certain things.

Then once I actually get in, I think I'll start leveling my hunter while also picking up my pets along the way. The ones that won't require searching that is. I'll keep an eye out for talk of those special quest pets that you won't be able to tame for long, but I probably won't find any that will appeal to me.

I don't know when I'll start my worgen, probably wait a bit so all those so eager to get their characters started will be done clogging the quest areas. I mean I'll create her, but I won't touch her for a while. XP

Most likely a taming spree with induce after Cata hits..but that's second..first and foremost, I want to hop on my birdy and fly around to look at everything!!

Considering that I still don't have an 80 even after 3 years of playing, we can safely say that I won't be rushing to 85 soon.

When Cataclysm hits, I'll probably try to make a Worgen and a Forsaken Hunter and probably try to imagine them as brothers torn apart by destiny and war. If only WoW gives the option of surnames. I'll probably also make an Orc and a Night Elf Mage as well as a Goblin Death Knight to be the counterpart of my Gnome Death Knight. And if Blizzard gives us more character slots, a Dwarf Shaman and a Tauren Paladin.

As soon as the servers are stable, I'm going to STV to reunite with Chistery the monkey. I've really gotten fond of the little beggar on beta. After that, Tahlian, my death knight Dandill, and my paladin Keilos will be leveled to 85 as promptly as possible, so that I will be ready to raid by whatever deadline my raid sets (and they are usually more than generous with those deadlines, so I should definitely be able to get Tahl there at the very least).

Other than that, picking up a fox or two, playing tourist on my flying mount, and just generally enjoying the stories being told.

Er fix my talent tree up? I am sure they will wipe our talent trees like they did when wotlk came out so i think i would do that.
