Do we have a new tenacity tree pet family?
We have monkeys which are cunning, dogs and foxes which are ferocity.. but.. do we also have a new tenacity tree pet family? I'm not seeing anything mentioned and I was wondering if there was one and if not.. perhaps we could hope that they would put in stags as the tenacity family. =X

Thought I remember hearing the shale spiders were actually tenacity.

I'm questing in Deepholm currently...I can nab a shale spider and see. I know they're Exotic, though, so they'll be BM only either way.

Cool. I wasn't sure if that was the case or not..Teigan wrote:Thought I remember hearing the shale spiders were actually tenacity.
That would be really cool, Tahlian. It would be nice to know once and for all.Tahlian wrote:I'm questing in Deepholm currently...I can nab a shale spider and see. I know they're Exotic, though, so they'll be BM only either way.

Shale spiders ARE tenacity! But currently tiny. Not that size makes a difference, but it amuses me a great deal.

That is cool - now if only they could just shift beetles over to tenacity (and for bonus points make them regular - if wasps are regular, why not?)...silverstenopad wrote:Shale spiders ARE tenacity! But currently tiny. Not that size makes a difference, but it amuses me a great deal.

Oh yeah. I forgot all about beetles. I think they would make a nice tenacity pet.
The sheer size of the shale spiders and the ability to tank.. its cute.

Teeny tanks! <3 *coos*
There weren't a whole lot of exotic tenacity pets either, so it's a good addition.

Yes, shale spiders are indeed tenacity...and may end up being the only kind of "spider" I can actually tolerate, since I'm terribly arachnophobic IRL.
However - the small size on both them and the monkeys kind of needs fixing. Yeah, teeny-tiny is cute...but it's also very, very hard to keep track of where your pet is when it's that doggone small. I was perfectly happy with the monkeys when they were closer to chimpanzee-sized. Smaller than gorillas, but big enough you could easily find them visually...just in case they started taking off in a random direction as sometimes happens.

Personally I can see amusing uses for a shale spider in battlegrounds. Knowing how much I dislike trying to target baby-spiced gnomes, I can see how frustrating it might be to try to get a fix on a (baby-spiced!) shale spider!Tahlian wrote:Yes, shale spiders are indeed tenacity...and may end up being the only kind of "spider" I can actually tolerate, since I'm terribly arachnophobic IRL.However - the small size on both them and the monkeys kind of needs fixing
