I'll have a look myself in a bit--assuming I can find a raid group for the AQ ones. Anyone want to lend one (Brill EU)?

Nineteen... oof. Did I say I'll have a look? I meant I'll START looking

And no, I don't think there is a list--I only checked the few in Silithus and Tanaris, myself.

You should be able to solo RAQ easily, and at least get up to the Twin Emperors in TAQ :)

I can easily solo it--but I need someone in group in order to form a raid to enter the dungeon. Nobody in /2 is answering, so unless a kind (and awake) Petopian can offer, the AQ ones will have to wait :(

Okay, so far, this is what I have. For each of them, I tamed them, checked to be sure they had the correct talent trees, and dismissed/recalled a few times to be sure they are stable colors. Then again, it's 6 am here so hopefully I haven't missed anything!

Key: Name (Level range according to Wowhead, Subzone: Zone) *Notes*

Copper
Image
Gorishi Worker (51-52, The Slithering Scar: Un'goro Crater)
Hive'Zora Hive Sister (55-60, Hive'Zora: Silithus) *Did not see any 57+ mobs*
Hive'Zora Waywatcher (55-59, Hive'Zora: Silithus) *Did not see any 57+ mobs*

Tan
Image
Zukk'ash Worker (38-45, The Writhing Deep, Feralas) *Did not see any 40+ mobs*

Pink
Image
Centipaar Worker (47-49, The Noxious Lair: Tanaris)
Hive'Regal Slavemaker (55-60, Hive'Regal, Silithus) *Did not see any 57+ mobs*
Zukk'ash Tunneler (38-46, The Writhing Deep, Feralas) *Did not see any 40+ mobs*

Blue

Hazzali Worker (46-48, The Gaping Chasm: Tanaris)
Hive'Ashi Defender (55-59, Hive'Ashi, Silithus) * Did not see 57+ mobs*

* These mobs still show low in the pet view pane. They are now all the same (proper) size.

* Not found: Arakis, <Hive'Zora Overlord>, showing near Bones of Grakkarond but not found there nor Hive'Zora--possibly rare or removed?

* Nerub'ar Scarabs: classed Undead, level 1 Neutral mobs

* Haven't mentioned the Southern Barrens mobs, as (a) they've been tameable on Live for awhile now and (b) I think I need someone on the quest in order to check up on them

Arakis, <Hive'Zora Overlord>

He shows up as part of a Sithilus quest right at the end of the chain. Given the other two are flagged as tamable on Live I suspect he would get switched on as well.

Ahh I see, thanks :) I may not be able to check him then--will keep trying to get a raid group today or tomorrow to check out the AQ ones!

Dunno if it's been posted yet, but I'm afraid Ohgan is dead:

God I hope not. Those snakes have path-ing issues.

I believe those snakes beast lore that way on live don't they? Either way, I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing them become tamable anytime soon.

Also as a side, shouldn't this have been asked in the 4.1 megathread we have going on?

Indeed, Ohgan was the old raptor you killed to get the mount, and he's now skeletal.

The one I'm concerned with is his daughter, Ohgan'aka :) She's apparently still alive and well, although how the quest will involve her and end the story is as yet unknown!

Okay, a guildmate has a PTR char they've given me a raid group with. I should be able to check all of the AQ mobs now :)

Right, update: full listing of Silithid Ants that will be tameable in 4.1 can now be found here. The only exceptions are the 2 quest-summoned mobs. If anyone can get information on them I'd appreciate it--I'd need level, color, elite/not, and a double-check that they're tameable and in the correct family.

One of the two will definitely be tameable. That's the swarmer, which was made tameable back in a 4.0.3 hotfix.

The other one, IIRC, is part of a quest chain that no longer exists. I can maybe get Nimhar copied over and check, but Kura did it long ago, unfortunately. It's part of the AQ chain.

Anyway, what I came here to say: Vale Owls are now tameable mobs. There's nothing really special about them; just your average brown-orange owls that, for whatever reason, had been forgotten to be set 'tameable'. As well, Monstrous Kaliri (in Terokkar/Skettis) are tameable now, and only the second place in the game (and only non-instance one) to get that bright orange-red bird skin.

Awesome, is there a thread on this I can link to or?

To the vale owls, not yet. I didn't think it was important enough for a full thread there. I can add it to the Kaliri thread. :) To the Monstrous Kaliri... *digs*

http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10070

It should probably be moved to the PTR board, though. :)

I don't want to link to the ZG thread, due to potential spoilers for other things people don't want, BUT! I will say that I found her alive and clickable in ZG. I am unaware of what quests or dialogue might go along with her, but you can rest assured that, as of the moment, you can find her alive (and still a cute little baby).

Multiple pets that had no sound-on-click now do. I don't have all the pets in the game (my list is on Warcraftpets if people can check ones I don't have), but I've got quite a few. And of my list:

Ammen Vale Lashling (rustling)
Argent Squire (and I would assume Gruntling) (little grumbling/grunting sounds)
Cockatiel (like canaries/singing birds)
Curious Wolvar Pup (and I would assume Oracle Hatchling) (Growly panting sounds)
Disgusting Oozeling (gloops on click; no longer makes constant burbling noises)
Durotar Scorpion (squeaky chittery insect sounds)
Elwynn Lamb (bleats)
Firefly (buzzy chittering sounds)
Green Wing Macaw (parrot squawks and whistles)
Lil Smoky (clatters)
Little Fawn (bleats)
Mechano Peep (clatters and machinery sounds)
Mulgore Hatchling (squawks and twitters; *vastly* different than Egbert's)
Pet Bombling (clicks, whirs, and ticks)
Proto-drake whelp (RAWR! Impressively loud roars for a teeny pet)
Senegal (parrot squawks, decidedly different from macaw)
Sinister Squashling (wicked laughter)
Speedy (little (actually fairly loud) rattly groans)
Sprite Darter Hatcling (small hissing roars)
Stinker (little squeaks and chitters)
Strand Crawler (grumpy crab 'rattles')
Teladrassil Sproutling (creaks and groans like a tiny guardian tree)
Tickbird Hatchling (squawks)
Tiny Flamefly (clicks and rattles, as the firefly)
Tirisfal Batling (hissing chirps)
Tranquil Mechanical Yeti (not-so-tranquil growling and roaring)
Vampiric Batling (Same as Tirisfal Batling)
White Tickbird Hatchling (same as Tickbird Hatchling)

I haven't any snowballs at the moment, so the Christmas pets will have to wait. There are also (of course) a lot of special pets I don't have; this is just the group I have.
