I will say...I'm kinda disappointed the rest were all spiders.

Boo! I was kinda hoping for the Corrupted Loque. Well, off to tame Gondria and name her company! Misery will just have to wait for his black love.

The cats and owl are sweet but having five spiders is kinda silly I think. I do like the new "gimmic" tames though.

Honestly, I'm just happy with what we got here.. Sure, no new "SHINY AND AMAZING" pets, but who the hell cares? I don't give a damn if it's not a "unique" and "speshul" looking pet.. I love the fact that each one has its own challenge! I probably won't get all of them, but I sure as hell am getting the two cats and Deth'tilac! I love how they look!

In fact, I couldn't care less if some of them have already available counterparts.. Sure, I probably won't tame them, but it's not because I don't want an "UNSPESHUL" pet. I just don't like how some of them look.. Simple as that. I guess more "epic" looking pets would have been nice.. But am I gonna rage and complain and be a general pain in the butt over it? Not a chance. I'm fine with these new pets, especially considering it's already amazing that they're specially tailored for our class. I see no real reason to cause yet another shitstorm.

What is this Corrupted Loque model i've heard people mention? Link mayhaps?

I think they just need to polish the pitch. We'd have been content hearing "Some new spirit beasts and fireders!"

Was just an idea cause someone didnt want another Loque model but we suggested a black/red one.

First off thanks to those who posted information and pics so quickly!

I admit I was initially disappointed about it being all spirit beasts and spiders, but I'm okay with it now. I wasn't looking for more pets so at least now I know I don't have to worry about clearing out stable space once the patch hits.

Oh! When the first three new models came out, two of them were the other colours of the Gondria model, a rare spawn in Zul'Drak up in Northrend. A few of us started to think that maybe there were other models of other Spirit Beasts, of which Gondria is part of.

The 'Corrupted Loque' is the skin of Loque'nahak transformed into a charred version of himself, much like the Black Gem hunched cat:



Except with the swirls of the spots on the skin and whatnot.

Or, that's what I got out of the brainstorming that happened earlier.

I think if they had done the two Gondrias, the owl, 2-3 of the spider colors and made the rest common skins, the fire scorpion, and the fire cat, that would have been alot sweeter. I'll probably go after the spirit beasts and one spider skin and leave the rest (full stable already so I don't have to abandon as much).

Basically how I feel. I always wlecome new pets, especially ones so hard to get. However, I do wish there was more variety considering the work and thought that has to go behind some of the tames.

The statement they made would have seemed to indicate that we would be getting 8 different pets. This is more like "pick the color you like".. I'll probably tame one of the spiders, but that's it, and the blue spirit beast cat.

Marketing gets ahead of development yet again..

Looking at all the spiders, I'd tame the yellow. But I'll likely never use it, so it's kind of a shame (I really don't pvp anymore).

The remaining pets are all spiders? Aw... I was hoping for a little more variety than that. I mean, that's great that they're there, but... FIVE spiders? That's a lot of 'em.

OH WELL.

Someone is really going to have to love spiders to go through the tricks to tame all 5 of those...

I'm taming them all simply because I like the model and I'm a rare hunter so

Well, they're nice models, but I am indeed disappointed that the rest are spiders. I was hoping for some variety in species even if they'd just be reskins. Oh well. I may go after Deth'tilac and/or Magria.
