My broodling and I in Vash on our way to look for Poseidus
I know the spider swim isnt new but these new spiders look extraordinarily freaky swimming, like a malformed octopus.

Looks downright Cthulhoid.
Do you recall about what time of day you tamed yours at (incl time zone)?

Logged back in 15 min later at 9:45am EST by the Spire to find a cluster of Cinderweb Broodlings right next to me.
Sadly none were tamable, and they despawned within a minute or so.
My quests at the time were:
Burn Victims
Hostile Elements
Breach in the Defenses
Not sure if there were Clutchkeepers up at that exact time but I know there were within like 5-10 minutes max... so that means the broodlings popped up either while Clutchkeepers were up, or during a very short window when they weren't...
EDIT: Those were the ones from the scout. Derp.

Been checking off and on for the last 3 hours or so, but it's always Clutchkeepers every time so far.

This smells like a timing thing to me. What time does your server reset?

That's kind of how I'm leaning myself. As far as I can recall, regular mobs aren't replaced outright by phase events (at least not for other players anyways), so the fact that tamable broodlings and clutchkeepers never are seen together likely means they wanted patrolling green mobs... normally clutchkeepers but every so often you get broodlings instead, as a "wildcard".

At server reset, the clutchkeepers disappeared (twice that I've seen thus far). Nothing was oput there in its place as of nearly 3am, closer to 2.30 - 2.45; I ran around the area every 5 min (literally, I was timing it).
Acher in another thread says hers spawned RIGHT as dailies reset, but that seems out of line based on what nirvana and I are experiencing. She is on an EU server though, if I recall. Timing may be different for US and EU servers.
Few things I'm wondering; I've never seen them, but I can't stay up past 2.30; I konk out. Nirvana is on an est server, he sees his at ~6am. Perhaps they spawn at the same time across all servers, which would be 3am for me. One picture I saw had a 12:XX timestamp on the minimap; what's 3 hours behind pst...? o_O Or 21 hrs ahead? lol.
I'll get some sleep, get up at 1, and hang around til 3. If nothing happens, I'll have to push til 6. I'll come here with my results and with what dailies were up at the time.

I'm going to set my alarm for 5:30am.

Apparently dailies change with time of day too. I picked mine up in the AM & got the Wisp Away quest. My fiancee picked his up after work and got the vines quest.
Been watching the Clutchkeepers, but they've remained constant since I got home.

Definitely no connection with Burn Victims as I had it earlier and saw only Clutchkeepers / nerubians. The only one that seems to still be a possibility is Wisp Away...

That's really weird, nirvana. Looks like trying at 6am is my best bet.

For the second day in a row, the Broodlings have spawned *exactly* as the daily quests have reset. They patrolled once around Widow's Clutch and despawned in the center nest after about 10 seconds of inactivity.
Can anyone else watch the nest while dailies reset? I strongly suspect that's the trigger.

They must last for awhile if that's the case. I've never been up for the daily reset of 3 AM, but they've been there at 6 AM for me two days now. Bah, if only I didn't work so damned early!
If someone does find them as they spawn, you should check in periodically to see when the "event" ends.

I have sat there at the nest when they reset, and stayed there for 30min without seeing anything. NPCScan does not trigger, either.
A52 server, pst time
Today I'm going to get up at one and camp by that dang nest til the nerubians respawn >|

What time do US servers get daily quest resets?
Edit:
They're spawning now, 6:25 server time. They are spawning from the points where, I believe, the Clutchkeepers (who are NOT up) spawn from (3 different points so far, all of which are Clutchkeeper spawn points).
I was told that Karkin just spawned, as well; a fellow player on my realm wonders if they're related.
They do race to the middle nest & despawn. They then respawn at one of the other points a few seconds later, and repeat. This is the fifth or sixth pack now.

On the PTR, we tended to either see LOTS of packs or none at all. Fascinating that they were popping with the daily reset.... Our rollover the other night was 4 am.
