Yeah it has every location on Pond's map, but I'm wondering if there are others. I really like to have them all marked so that when NPC Scan goes off I know where to look.

Also, ugh so tired but must keep looking *chugs more Starbucks*

Just killed Akma'hat with a guildie and a friend and their friend. Will post screenshots tomorrow. Gonna look for camels for about 20 or so more min then off to bed. >_<

Just found another dust!!

I was sitting in Stormwind with Lucas and he started darting around investigating the area, so I thought perhaps he wanted to go look for camels again. Lucas really wants to help me get my camel. <3

So I took him to Uldum and quickly found a camel! I'm so glad, I had been getting down at not finding any recently, so even a dud will lift my spirits again!!

Congrats on the bow! And three times in six runs? o.O I thought it had a really low drop chance...

I am at 16 fakes now, and still no real camel. Hopefully you get it before 16 I too feel like I am missing spots when I patrol over Uldum. Strangely, the spots where I have found fakes seem to be repeated quite often and there are many spots I have never seen a figurine spawn in. The spots on the left side of the river seem to be very common for me (I've found 1 at Ahmtul, 1 around the Temple, 2-3 up by the Sideshow, 1 near Ahkmahat's spot, 2-3 in the Ruins of Ammon, maybe 4 at the Ankhet Fields (and 1 in the nearby grassy cliffs) and 2 around the Schnottz area ) and on the right I have found exactly 2 statues (at the gnome lighthouse). I've also never seen one in Neferset or Orsis.

I found my first one ever at Neferset.
But yeah I tend to get really paranoid xD There are just so many spawns so it's just never predictable at which it will be at next. It could also not spawn at a certain spawn location for a very long time.

This is such a crazy hunt! x.x


And yeah the group I've been doing Sunwell with (as well as some other old world raids) has been very lucky lately! If only our Ashes of Al'ar drops were this frequent.

GOD DAMN IT.

I am SO frustrated and angry right now. I'm just in tears of utter frustration and so pissed off at my luck.

Today around 4 my time while I was at class, a friend of mine found a camel while farming. He thought it was going to be a dud but instead he got ported to Feralas. He sends me a message on facebook saying "<HisNameHere> The Camel-Hoarder" and my heart just sinks when I finally see it (which was when I was trying to sleep). I went to his armory an sure enough it shows that he got the achievement.
I wish so SO much he didn't tell me. I'm spending practically all day in Uldum anyway so the odds that I'd bump into him and notice would be slim.
I just cannot even describe my frustration. I wish I had been sick today so I could have stayed home and kept looking.
I feel like giving up but I know that if I do that then I'll never get it. But god dammit I just... I don't even know what to say anymore.

And no, I'm not mad at my friend. I'm mad at my luck and that I could have done nothing about it.

Well today wasn't so bad. Found a dud during the first search I did after I logged on, so got the rest of the day off. This time it was at Akma'hat's spot.

Haha yeah I used to be like that when I found duds. xD Now I just totally expect them. x.x
