She's right. They were very much madly in love despite in-game doesnt show it as such.
A fun place to chat about hunter pets in the World of Warcraft.

I have read her lore, thank you.Jessibelle wrote:Sylvannas has always been on the slippery slope. Read her lore.
I don't think she is presonally. It can be seen eather way the verge of losing it that is.Umbriel of Halaa wrote:I have read her lore, thank you.Jessibelle wrote:Sylvannas has always been on the slippery slope. Read her lore.
She used to have antihero cred. Even if one argues that she still has it, she's on the verge of losing it.
She's never had antihero cred if you've played her campaign. All she wanted was to kill Arthas then kill herself(proven and backed up by WC and her short story). Only reason she didnt was cause of the vyrkul.Umbriel of Halaa wrote:I have read her lore, thank you.Jessibelle wrote:Sylvannas has always been on the slippery slope. Read her lore.

That still can be called anti heroism. She's mearly doing it for her own ends unlike a hero who would do it for everyone.Jessibelle wrote:

But eh...guess some wanna view her through rose tinted glasses.
Ummm...I don't like Sylvanas and never have.Jessibelle wrote:But eh...guess some wanna view her through rose tinted glasses.
I think Varian's marginally better than Garrosh; at least he's got an excuse for having such a rage-on. (Although raging specifically about having been a gladiator, rather than—for example—the way that his father died, or the way that Thrall was apparently not paying attention to Undercity? That seems a bit "off.")cowmuflage wrote:Personally I think shes one of the better leader characters in WoW XD I don't think it helps that the leaders of both the alliance and the horde are total racest headstrong "act before thinking" dickheadsThey both are very similar.
She can allways blame it on that time of the monthUmbriel of Halaa wrote:I think Varian's marginally better than Garrosh; at least he's got an excuse for having such a rage-on. Neither of them, however, seem to have sunk into "for the evulz" territory yet. And if Sylvanas isn't there, she's pretty damn close.
That's not antiheroism really. An example of that would be Venom from the Spiderman series. He's an anti hero. Why? He kills bad guys that break the law compared to a hero like Spiderman who doesn't kill bad guys.cowmuflage wrote:That still can be called anti heroism. I think you're a little confused on what antiheroism actually is...Jessibelle wrote:That's not antiheroism really. An example of that would be Venom from the Spiderman series. He's an anti hero. Why? Sylvannas just kills anyone that stands in her way and she seeks revenge against Arthas. Nothing more. It wasnt even complex, just emotional and cold at best.
and yeah, Varian has proven to be a lot better than Garrosh(and even kicked his ass....twice, if I recall.).
Eh, like I said, my view on her may be a bit on the jaded side. I've never liked her, never will. XDZuilu wrote:Doing it for herself is the point of being an antihero, Jessi. xD
She did something heroic, BUT she did it out of selfishness--which is something that a hero wouldn't do. An antihero.
I'm like that with Varian can't stand his poop face XD. Heck Garrosh is more standable to meJessibelle wrote:Eh, like I said, my view on her may be a bit on the jaded side. I've never liked her, never will. XDZuilu wrote:Doing it for herself is the point of being an antihero, Jessi. xD
