Well yeah, but I figure the gold for the yak will be easier in Pandaria.

A fun place to chat about hunter pets in the World of Warcraft.

I'd imagine the alliance version is going to show up on your alliance toons and vice versa? Not sure though, but it would make sense in my mind since it's the same mount but just has two different colours for it.Royi wrote:curious, would •Reins of the Ice Mammoth be account wide from since there are technically 2 versions of it (horde and ally)?
Or would it be just Since I have it on my horde toon, it'll only show up for my other horde toons (not my ally)
Just curious if its going to mean that these ones will carry over
if it is account wide, then it should automatically turn for hordies into the red version and turn into blue version for allies. Gear does the same thing when you faction change and theres a very specific horde/ally difference to it (the lvl 60 pvp gear i guess would be the best example) ^-^Royi wrote:curious, would •Reins of the Ice Mammoth be account wide from since there are technically 2 versions of it (horde and ally)?

So much for that noise:Kalliope wrote:Well yeah, but I figure the gold for the yak will be easier in Pandaria.
Grand Expedition Yak Price Increase
The Reins of the Grand Expedition Yak has been hit with a price increase to 120,000. Most players will be able to purchase it at the discounted price of 108,000, which comes from the Bartering guild perk.
Did you see the other thread that had the JC mount prices? THOSE are ridiculous. This is a drop in the bucket by comparison.Royi wrote:So much for that noise:Kalliope wrote:Well yeah, but I figure the gold for the yak will be easier in Pandaria.

If that turns out to be the case, then it should theoretically be possible to pay for a faction transfer for any of your Alliance toons and so end up with the Horde equivalent for all your Horde toons. Since faction transfers translate mounts and stuff from one faction equivalent to the other. Of course that uses up real money...Yoruko wrote:I'd imagine the alliance version is going to show up on your alliance toons and vice versa? I did not, you mean those 4 Panther mounts that you combine into the one flying mount? What do those run about?Kalliope wrote:Did you see the other thread that had the JC mount prices? Interesting to think about if you were planning on a Faction change anyways. If thats the case I have a character who is basically retired with a free Faction change (from the scroll of res thing from awhile back). I'll use it just to see if it works after Panda (thinking mainly those Argent Tourney Faction Mounts etc).Wain wrote:If that turns out to be the case, then it should theoretically be possible to pay for a faction transfer for any of your Alliance toons and so end up with the Horde equivalent for all your Horde toons.
