Well, glad to see you have some understanding of the work involved. ;) I've seen too many, both here and all the usual forums, who have done a few lines of html and think they know programming.

The big thing really is resources, how those are committed, and what choices they are making. We don't know what else is going on behind the scenes, and what else they are working on.

Those unicorns being tamable would be badass.

Although I feel for them. Imagine that growing out of your forehead.

They've got curved swords. Curved. Swords.

Edit:
WoW Crendor has been doing exploration of the three released zones. He'll do the others when they're available. You can see a lot of the new beasts. Some are fleeting while others you get a really good look. Just thought I'd post them in case you were interested.

Pretty zone. Looks like the smallest. But around 16:38 you can see a place holder bear called a Gorecrazed Mauler. It has some sort of shadow form effect on it.
Val'Sharah

LOT of the new beast skins in this zone. You even get somewhat of a good look at a diseased bear w/a blue glow called a Bewitched Bear @ 16:24. Hard to tell if it's the hipster or not but I believe it is.
Highmountain

Stormheim. This zone. Was a very large disappointment to me in one way. While being extremely gorgeous it is FULL of Northrend beasts. Lot of NR worgs. Shoveltusks. Some MoP yaks. But was really really bummed to see the NR worgs there. VERY out of place with such a gorgeous new zone.
Stormheim

Our new unicorns now have two more colours, brown and green, giving them four colours total:

While variety is the spice of life, I'm still leaning towards the original two ;)

And nice find btw, haven't seen these on MMO or Wowhead yet :)

I'll resist posting any more home-made recolours on this thread, I promise. I just couldn't help myself today ;)

Wow, the new models for old pets look great (I was just thinking earlier that the raven desperately needs an update!). And wow - those Mana Sabers are goooorgeous. *_* I wonder if they'll be a new family with new skills?

The unicorns are lovely too but since I primarily level through dungeoning I prefer smaller pets. I'm really glad they're diversifying with moose and unicorns and such though. :)

This is a very nice new boss model. It's different to the Draenor model (I mean, apart from the obvious spears!) and I'm hoping they'll make a regular wolf model based on it.

Now I'm not sure if it's just visual effect, a change of the skin colour (Blue -> Yellow) or a combination of both, but Fenryr was up and being tackled in the Legion EU/US Dungion race the other day and we could see him in action.

His ruin/skars on his shoulder/legs, are now that of bright yellow glowing ruins. They pulse and send out an array of spell effect during the fight too. His eye is also now yellow with no sign of blue on him to be seen. I'm not sure if it's a new skin, now, but it certainly changing his look a fair amount.

**Sorry about the small blurry images, was trying to screen grab them on a dodgy work computer.

Interesting find!

It could be that the model has changed since I last loaded it.

It could also be that there are particle colour modifications to turn the effects yellow that I haven't applied (I have to locate them in the database and change them manually).

I'll have a look later :) Thanks.

Mana Sabers, Oxen and Scalehide families just data mined from latest build.

Nyup, seems disappointing so far.

I'm not a huge fan of Yak and Oxen, but so far, that family seems to hold the most potential.

Scalehide seem like they're likely just the new Basilisk creatures (which would be yay, another case of the Rylak)

And Mana Sabers (ditto) are just cats. I don't want to be sour, but it's really getting quite annoying that Blizzard keeps creating families for creatures that could easily fall within one of the existing families. Mana Sabers could've easily been a part of the cat family. But now they're gonna be in a family for that specific creature, and never get any attention past Legion because - again - it's such a specific family.

Kind of feeling the same way. :/ I'd rather get some of the exciting unused families than strange rehashes of pre-existing ones.

This. I know I keep talking about the same few families, but those slots could've really gone to Kunchong, Pterrorwings, Dread Ravens, Elekk, Kodo (especially with their new models. Could have Mushan and Thunder Lizards too), Sandreavers, etc.

Especially if Scalehide really end up being those basilisk creatures. Then it'll be two redundant families and one actually new family.
