Nothing of note in Maraudon or the tunnels leading to it :\Wish I knew if we needed flares for either of these.

I've been looking over some of the mountain peaks and eagerly wanting to take a look at them. They'll be the first place I go when I finally manage to get flying together. .... it should only take another month or so.

Don't want to take the time to look into it.. but could it possibly be near the time-lost proto-drake? Just a suggestion, if anyone looks into it let me know!

Haven't seen anything there. Myself and others have searched there with /target macros and looked for things to spawn it. nothing :/

At around 2 items per chest, and 100 needed for each turnin, and 150 per turnin.... that would still take a hell of a lot of server hopping. Not to mention the fact that server hopping is something a lot of people have picked up on.

It's not going to be as fast as that!

Is there any other way into/see the Shadowlands other than dying, Helheim, and Spectrecles/SecondSightHelms?

Off the top of my head, there isn't.

I tried using the trinket (Spectral Essence) that allows you to speak to Ghosts in Caer Darrow. Talked to every ghost and nothing.

I'm no longer subbed, but off the top of my head has anyone tried Timeless Isle? I remember being turned into a ghost there for the minigame in the cave. I'd also wonder if CoT dungeons like Hillsbrad or Stratholme might have something.

Has it been confirmed that this NPC is actually in game though by a developer? Blizzard forgets to code in things sometimes *coughMoPWorldBossMountscough*

It has, Muffinus tweeted last week that the Gryphon SB was in the game.

I gave the Timeless Isle's ghost cave a look, but there was nothing of note there. :( Sure, I couldn't get all the way to the end because how the hell are you supposed to make it past the spirits that blatantly camp the middle of the hallway in a neat row, but then, it doesn't make that much sense to have it randomly at the back there...

Elixir Of Shadow Sight, but it is only used/useful in extremely limited areas.

They respawn, so when you have looted all the shrines, you can still pick them up. So if there was some other use for them, it wouldn't screw you out of any treasure (although you would have to wait a week).

I just want to say that I got the new crafted gloves and they're really nice for exploring. We're pretty much druids now. No mount cast time!

One thing that seems almost clear is that this SB is not on Legion soil. Judging by the model it has, it is not a new model. So having an old model npc in the Broken Isles seems out of place...

Outlands is the only continent without a sb now, thought Kalimdor's sbs are all in the firelands. There are several spots in Outlands that seem like they would be a good fit for the gryphon or Gon.

An old model doesn't mean it can't be on the Broken Isles. They don't have a Spectral Grand Gryphon model, so they have to use the old one. Besides, Lalathin uses the old Hippogryph model, and she is most likely in Suramar.

The Long Forgotten Hippogryph too. They don't seem to have a problem mixing up these things.

Isn't there a way to datamine the files and find out where the pet is? I think I'm gonna give up searching.

If we could have done that, a lot of things would have been found already. Datamining can find *some* things, but not all of them are helpful. For instance, it wasn't dataminers that found the hippogryph or the boss.

Interesting. Someone just uploaded a video of a scaled gryphon (Snowblind) in Winterspring. Maybe you guys knew about it but I didn't. You spawn it by hitting a nest in Hidden Grove.
