A lot of 'alien' or 'foreign' words in WOW are just corrupted english words; kodo is komodo as in komodo dragon, tauren is from the word taurus, pandaren is from the word panda, rangari is from the word ranger. mulgore means to milk in latin etc

Its big nose and large ears reminds me of a Koala but on a carnivorous marsupial body too; particularly either a numbat or a quoll.

We still don't have any marsupials in games; roos, koalas etc and an alien planet is a good way to introduce marsupialan family.

Oh, I thought that crab must be part of the area fauna. I did think it kind of was an odd choice to be placed there but that makes more sense now :)

I'm actually hoping that both Panthara and Marsuuls to be tamable into a new family; Marsuul.

I love the idea that both are marsupials and panthara represents carnivorous marsupials such Thylacine while Marsuuls represents smaller marsupials like Koala.

It was both a joke about junk lice and a 'wtf why are there crabs on Argus' but since you brought it with you, nevermind. XD

Yes, but as of right now, it is solely used as a mob in the Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon. Most likely, it will be untamable, unless they place it as a seperate mob elsewhere.

Come to think of it, the Panthara and Marsuul head designs are both extremely evocative of various Australian animals, and we are getting the 'Australian' themed puppy pets as well.

Is Argus going to be somewhat portrayed as 'Australia'?

Wow, that'd make a really cute pet to tame!

And the thing at the bottom could be a fun pet too. 8-)
