Yeah now that you mention it..the whole face looks like a rat /mouse. .

I mean, I get not liking a model, but I feel like proclaiming the new saber model has the head of a rat is a tad bit hyperbolic?

Not really, the old sabers looked more like their real life counterparts more than these do, Bowno isn't the only one to see it.

The Panda cats do it best though.

It's not exaggerated if a rat is the first thing some people see when looking at the new models.

I love the new sabers, but even I thought the face was kind of rat-ish, especially on the grey with blue eyes. So it's not just you. I do adore them though and can't wait to tame one (hopefully? the taming passes for this expansion have been kinda poor imo...)

But tossing it out there, for what it's worth Wowhead states that they will not be taking the place of the current mounts (I wonder if they mean to say they believe they won't be? or if they actually know for a fact?), and instead are most likely drops from the new upcoming Warfront. So I'm not sure they're meant to be an actual replacement?

Yeah, it's for the sleigh. It's based on the druid travel form rather than the wild stag, like you can see it has longer ears.

wonder if it will be used for the reindeer mount from holly during winter veil? it does have a red nose.
