I'm hoping at some point we get the new crocodile models to from the plunderlord mount.
The last model update for crocs was what, Cataclysm??? They're a bit overdue, and I'd love to have my croc Crikey back in rotation.
Fortunately I think the cata crocs still hold up to modern models but still really could use an update.

Crocs definitely deserve a new model. I personally didn't care much for the legion crocs, especially since newer basilisks just copy that model almost 1:1 and don't even have their own identity anymore. On that note, basilisks need a new look too since they didn't actually get a unique design since BC. Sure, the legionlisks are interesting, but like I just complained, they're basically crocolisks in the wrong family rather than basilisks.
... A modern updated version of the BC basilisks with the care that went into the nether ray update would make me soil both sides of my pants in joy.

Yeah we all agree crocolisks need a new model, I hope they get rid of the static classic crocolisk rig and use the basilisk one or an entirely new one, since 11.1 dropped, basilisks and crocolisks are basically and practically the same, both are reptilian beasts with six legs and have a slow ability with a different name from each other

Well, "everything" is a bit much. I doubt they'd do that, though it would be spectacular. It needs to be as faithful as the nether ray though, because MAN I still can't get over how good the new rays look. We need that quality and love applied to the pets that got horribly shafted by their original model updates (wind serpents and hyenas especially).

I would love for Crocs to get some love.
I'd also love Dragonhawks to get something new...other than some colors added in like Cata, they've only been the old TBC model.
And after they were VERY needlessly robbed of Shalewings back in Dragonflight (still do not understand that one since its very clear they were intended to be spore bats), Sporebats could do with some love too. The model we got back in WoD isn't too much different than the old TBC one imo.

At least with the ones in K’aresh, Razorwings are now in the Feathermane family.
As of this build, the ones in Korthia have not be touched.

That's a massive W. Razorwings kind of don't fit in feathermanes, what with not having any feathers, but I'll take it. A new slowfall pet is always a wonderful thing. Also glad to see the Slatebacks get flagged.

It's yet another reuse of the same animations, but the k'arrocs look so goofy that it's an acceptable reuse.

Tested beast lore on Korthia razorwings, I hope they become tameable soon considering the ones currently in K’aresh are tameable and intended, I suggest Gore Beak should switch to this unused Brown & Yellow razorwing look

Yeah, I went and checked out the ones in Korthia after I saw that the three in K'aresh were in the Feathermane family. Hopefully more will be added.

I will partially agree with you on the color change, but not for Gore Beak. Give the unused brown skin to Shay'ryth the Cursed, the rare that flies around. Unused skins being implemented go best with rare mobs, in my opinion. Kind of like how the numerous color combos for wind serpents got long ago. Also, while Gore Beak isn't a proper named enemy and is more of a regular mob, I feel like it should still keep its name since it seems to be semi-unique. I only saw one up at any given time.
Personally, I eagerly await the green razorwings in Korthia. Lurker dev, hear our pleas! Brown skin on one of the K'aresh Razorwings and tameable Korthia Razorwings when you can!

I noticed Wain hasn't made the usual bug and suggestion post, so I'll just summarize what we've all said real quick (plus things I noticed when doing the main questline again last night) to make it easier when he has the time to make that thread;
Wrong Classification
- Crackling Wyrm (236191) is currently listed as an Aberration, should be Beast (Serpent).
- Crackling Wyrmling (236258) is currently listed as a Humanoid, should be Beast (Serpent).
Could Be Made Tameable
- Animites (numerous) in Shadowlands and The War Within could be changed from Aberration to Beast (Blood Beast).
- Mutant Animites (numerous) in Shadowlands and The War Within could be changed from Aberration to Beast (Blood Beast).
- Devourer Scavengers (numerous) in Shadowlands and The War Within could be changed from Aberration to Beast (Blood Beast).
- Mutant Devourer Scavengers (numerous) in Shadowlands and The War Within could be changed from Aberration to Beast (Blood Beast).
- Razorwings (numerous) in Korthia could be made tameable (Feathermane).
- Invasive Wurm (230754) could be made tameable (Worm).
- Void Hunter (234416) could be made tameable (Fox).
- Netherdeath (241673) could be changed from Aberration to Beast (Ray)
- Enraged Lapbug Shade (239835) could be made tameable (Water Strider).
- Void Creepers (numerous) could be changed from Aberration to Beast (Carapid).
Appearance Change Suggestions
- Gore Beak (230380) could retain its name when tamed.
Unused Colour or Appearance Suggestions
- Sha'ryth the Cursed (232006) could use the currently unused "Brown and Yellow" Razorwing skin.
- Enraged Lapbug Shade (239835) could use all of the currently unused Lapbug skins.
Pet-Related Bugs and Issues
- Tamed Razorwings currently lack an attack animation, causing them to T-pose when attacking.
- Cosmic Rays have an issue with their movement animation where they temporarily stop animating.

Glad I’m not the only one that can’t use the pet because of the T-pose, for now when I’m testing, I really do hope they add the brown and yellow variant to one of the rares or as a new variant in korthia, the brown one just calls to me, it has a good contrast with the brown and yellow and it has black stripes, if it won’t be added, I’ll take a yellow & silver one
Edit - forgot to mention, rares like Sha’ryth and The night reaver are now in the phase diving phase rather than the present world

I just tamed a cosmic ray again and it still has the buggy freeze animation in the middle of its run and flight
