Alright, spent 5hrs looking for the violet and green serpants in 1k, but no luck. Was just running around killing them. I mostly stayed in this area:



But I did do laps around from time to time. They must be rare spawns and I guess they will get proper names soon instead of having the same mob name as the teal serpants that are in the area.

I'm off to bed, will resume my hunt in the morning.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but the white and green windserpents that used to live down in the canyons in Thousand Needles have apparently relocated themselves to the tops of the columns, so they're alive and well and accessible. Mob names Cloud Serpent and Venemous Cloud Serpent, if I recall correctly. I was having to wrestle my way through the zone as I apparently got struck by the repetitive-crash-unless-you-disable-your-game-sound beta bug.

Good that those 2 wind serpents keep their old names! are the harpies still their? and the wyrns? seems a bit silly for flyers to drown.

Awww! It would be awesome if we could get puffins as pets as well.
But the seagulls will do though. I've always hoped they would add more bird types, and specially seagulls. So I'm a happy hunter now.

I didn't see any harpies, but Highperch is still there, and there are still wyverns in it...though they have picked up some rather - interesting - neighbors that seem to be wanting to use them for their own purposes.

The snakes are gorgeous and the seagulls are cute! Pirate Goblin with one anybody?

Can someone in the beta please check to see if Qirot, the level 47 Rare Silithid Wasp in Feralas is still there and if it is tamable?

I saw it in the previous patch. I guess it still spawns at least.

I'd be surprised if it was tameable yet. From the look of things they've only made things they've just added tameable. They haven't really gone back and changed old things, yet.

I think i saw one up north when i got my seagull, ill go check when i can login again.

I've circled the entire zone and cleared all the serpents many times now, spanning a number of occasions. No sign of either alleged rare snake colour.

Wow...all this epicness contained in one thread...amazing..It's crazy that I've missed it up til now..but now that I've seen it...Oh my god...I want to tame one of those other parrots..they're great...Now my Penny (Aotona) can have her Desmond ^^

I'm guessing Lost too.

Yay <3 It is indeed Lost I loved that show for six years, and I miss it now that it's gone. My Aotona is really named Penelope, not necessarily for Lost, but now that there is another tamable parrot, how can I NOT name it Desmond ^^

SO I was at work today when I see seagulls in the parking lot... They crapped on the carts... very nice...
Anywho, that reminded me of This thread and reminded me to tell my co-worker who also plays WoW about the Seagull pet.
He didn't really care... Warriors, what to do with 'em?

Same here. I just thought the ending kind of sucked. Overall, I like the first seasons best.

Went back saw a corpse of the snake that despawned soon after, was up north theres one snake there but the one that spawned after was the other type.
