It's an improvement, but I also still don't like the muzzle. It looks to pretty to me and should be more evil looking.

Pretty? It's not pretty in the slightest. The worgen are NOT evil. They don't need to look evil. If you want evil, go play an undead. They're the wicked ones.

@7seti: I really like that.

Um none of the playable races are truely evil as evil is in the eye of the beholder after all. Humans think orcs are evil when well they are not and vice versa.

If it looks pretty to Makkie, then it looks pretty to Makkie. This is a completely subjective perception. You're entitled to disagree, since you're entitled to your own perception, but please don't tell Makkie (or anyone else) that what they're seeing is "wrong."

From this angle I like the dark furred one the best.

Yeah, from the front the black female Worgen looks much better to me. From the side it would change my opinion back to them both looking kind of awful though, as the forehead bulges on both. The brown face has me thinking of Scooby Doo or something when in comparison. The left one is one of the wolfier looking eyes from the old set, though.

Personally I like the brown one better. I wouldn't chose the black one for my character I'd have to say, but the brown one is nice. It seems more intelligent.

I'm still hoping they'll put in a variety of faces, some snarling, some feral and some more placid or pretty, so everyone can find a face they like. It seems different people want very different looks on their Worgen, and it would be great if we could all end up happy. The more options the better.

I akin these worgen to werewolves and as such I expected them to look scarier. I mean Belf females don't have the look of anything but barbie dolls tbh. ( hides before Veph sets skorn on me ).

I don't mind people disagreeing with me, just as long as we all stay polite and friendly:)

As for the scoobydoo comment, thats just too funny. Scoobydoo Doooooo haha

What I like about the blood elves is just how far they will go in their pursuit of power. It makes for a very nice combination of looks and ruthlessness as far as I'm concerned.

Hehe my main has been a belf warlock (albeit male) and I'm anything but nice * whistles innocently* But you're right there is a very dark side to Belfs and that was one of the reasons I chose it.

Hehe, yeah that about sums up my feelings for the race as well. Obviously Blizzard catered to a barbie-esque sort of stereotype for fun, but that particular theme is one I've never associated with Blood Elves in my eyes. I also steered my own character away from the blonde hair/tan complexion in making her have pale skin and black hair, so I definitely can't associate that sort of attitude with Veph.


On topic, last night Jangalian mentioned that the female Worgen are different looking in beta right now, though she wasn't able to get screenshots. Anyone else see the newest fixes to them? I'm curious what they've done with them now.

I find this to be a rather problematic sentiment. There are already a number of 'pretty' races on both sides, particularly for the Alliance, but we're seriously lacking in a fierce, bestial race. I think a lot of people, including myself, had our hopes riding on worgen fulfilling that role, but the females aren't really striking me as anything other than lackluster at the moment.

I'm not having too much of a problem with the front view. It's the profile that gets me, with the chihuahua-like muzzle and head shape. That's what I hope gets fixed, more than anything. I really love the mane though!

It is coming along much nicer now. And in the custom screen they have their own Gilnean screen now. SO I feel, broken or not, we may see more Worgen female updates soon =)

That's good news that they've got their own backdrop now; can't wait to see the new pics when beta testers can get 'em!

It's funny, but I didn't actually say they were evil…! I said they should look more evil in my opinion

Glad to hear about the attention Blizz is giving them, let's see what the future brings

I do apologize. I didn't mean to come off as rude or angry. I'm terrible at voicing my opinion irl(which I dont do much cause I trip on my words) and seems I'm just as bad doing it online too. Things IRL have been very stressful not only at home but at work as well, so again, I do apologize..... *needs a hug*
