I'm actually grinding my Skyguard rep right now. There is a small chain to do, but at 80 it was very easy. Only took me an hour or two. I'm going to have to grind some extra scrolls once I've gotten to Exalted (Hopefully today, only 7k or so left to go! ).

No, not really. You can use her to farm rep with them, but you don't need a certain level to get to her, just to do the chain if I'm remembering right.

How can I show how happy I am without them? T^T

This is a trivial question compared to the unique skin of Gezz, but if someone's in that neck of the woods, can they check that the dark brown owls summoned by one of the other Skettis encounters are still tameable as carrion birds?

If you have a friend who has done the Sha'tari Skyguard quests up to Adversarial Blood, all you need is to ask them to help you out. They just need to do some farming of dust to turn in for a potion to see the Time-Lost Arakkoa, then farm the Time-Lost Scrolls needed to use the summoning skull pile. They should know what to do. They can repeat this even if they've already completed the chain.

However, if you want to do it solo and don't have any Skyguard quests under your belt, you have a bit of background work to do. Basically, take a look at:

Scroll down to the quest chain for Blackwind Landing at the bottom. Start with Threat From Above, which starts in Shattrath, and follow it up to Adversarial Blood. Then you can summon Gezzarak for yourself.

It took me an hour to go from never doing anything for the Skyguard to having Gezz tamed.

Of course, I was on my premade 80 Orc Hunter. I believe Gezz is L.72.

Oh... if she knocks you back just start spamming Tame Beast right afterwards. The 10sec cast on Tame Beast (beta, and I guess PTR too?) is awesome.... King Krush will be mine, too.

No. The point was that mobs will be hitting harder, but with our tame beast shorter and us not losing armor, the main thing is to time it right. He shouldn't be harder than on live, I'd think.

Yay Awesome! I'm off to do the quest chain so I can tame her right when it goes live....now...last question...is this JUST on the cata beta? Or is it also on the PTR? Meaning will I be able to tame her once 4.0.1 comes out or am I going to have to wait for the expac?

The theory right now is that the newly flagged tameables aren't picking up that designation until the landscape changes come in, so it'll be that patch. I base this off the beetles and such, who are not yet tameable on the PTR.
